@foolcow1976 no. we have a crime problem amoung illegal aliens because the good ones are afraid of approaching the authorities (at risk of being deported, in many cases away from their families). another serious problem is drug violence. this could be rid of over night by making drugs legal. it isn't hard to understand why those living in unimaginable poverty might be drawn to the "drug game."

I can correct you on one thing, though. Presidents for three decades have CHOSEN not to do anything about it, because they're all owned by big business interests that profit from cheap labor. Eisenhower deported a million Mexicans in 1954. There's no reason something similar couldn't be done today.
