At least he is being treated more fairly in the media this time than he is last time, though. It isn't great, but it's at least better. He is being given a lot more debate time than he was given in 2008. If there is anything I agree with the Republican Platform on, it is Fiscal Responsibility and Illegal Immigration. However, I am pretty far separated from the GOP on social issues.

This election is not about social issues. It's about saving the dollar and our economy. I'm putting on the back burner all my pet issues: Religion, Intelligent design, evolution in schools, etc.
This is simply a fiscal vote this year. Also an anti establishment vote. Please don't play politics this cycle, our economy needs Dr. Paul. We can argue all the other stuff later. Please get on board.

Ron Paul is unfortunately not electable. The country as a whole will never accept him. I donated to his campaign in 2008 and after the way he was treated by the GOP, I completely lost faith in the Republican Party and switched parties to become a Democrat after much deliberation. I am happy where I am at now, but just examining the current political climate, Ron is the most honest guy in the whole stack, but simply is not electable.

@TheTommy626 California is worth 55 delegates. The next biggest is Texas with 38. So it takes a lot of New Jerseys (14 delegates) to make up for 1 California, assuming CA goes to Obama. But this is getting too far ahead i think. I agree the deck is stacked against him the whole way.
