  • I am convinced to go on the ride and I'm 24.

  • This castmember (CM), did a wonderful job on letting the child know that it will be ok...

  • When I was really little my parents took me to the Haunted Mansion and I was scared to death before we got on the ride. I told my parents I didn't want to go on and a cast member kindly took us through the exit. The cast members at Disneyland are very nice and they are truly nice people.

  • When I was a child I was much less frightened of the haunted mansion than I was of The Snow White Ride! I think I am still scarred from the crazy witch offering me a poisoned apple at every turn!

  • A cast member did this for me when I first went to Disney World as a child and was afraid of a ride...but it was for 'It's a Small World'.

  • I went on it when i was 5...my parents said i was laughing the whole time...(Exept for the breathing door...that still freaks me out)*___*

  • Did she died?

  • Lol, speaking of getting scared, I remember when I was, like, eight and during a Hercules parade one of the Hydra's heads snapped RIGHT IN MY FACE!!! I was freaking bawling!

  • Cast members like this deserve to get a raise.

  • how is this not for children under 12?

under 7, maybe. but I think an 8-year-old has the cognitive capabilities to understand that this is just a ride....

  • I went on this when i was 5! lol

  • @KDay5161 then i took an arrow in the knee

  • omg haunted houses with people jumping in front of you are so f*****g scary, I can't go in there or I'll come out with hands and knees shaking so bad I need to sit down.... I can understand she didn't enter.... :D

  • Haha she's much better in explaining haunted houses then my uncle.. In holland we have an haunted house called Spookslot. When I just convinced myself i wanted to go in, he scared the crap out of me =O .. didn't dare going in for 6 years....

  • did she go in

  • AWW that is adorable <3

when I was little i was afraid of The Voyage Of The Little Mermaid, I was afraid of Ursula..and I remember a cast member explaining she only comes on for a little bit during the show, and that there is nothing to be afraid of.

I actually don't know why I was so afraid, because I love Ursula and all the Disney villains now.

and I don't ever recall being afraid of the Haunted Mansion. only the beginning

  • awww... she was way better than my parents convincing me...

"QUIT ACTING STUPID YOUR GOING ON IT IDGAFFFFFF!!!!"

    =___=

  • I dont know what the person was saying the whole time -_-

  • if u wanna work in magic kingdom do u have to be american or can u be english???

  • @WDW3105 You can be from any place in the world and work in a Disney theme park. There are actually a lot of people working there from places like England and France even in Florida.

  • @killersdisneyboy But people who want to work there have to have like a work visa or something?

  • @theaudreyhepburngirl uhmm...I don't know the exact details on that type of stuff, but I have herd many times that Disney is a very easy place to get to work for even if your are from a different country so it might not be that hard to get if you do have to. But I never worked there so I would not be the best person to ask. Sorry.

  • @killersdisneyboy thanx good to know because i am english and i wanna work in mk not epcot

  • Now that's the way a cast member should be. Uncle Walt would be proud. Poor little girl still didn't want any part of it...lol. When she finally does go in it, she'll love it like everyone else.

  • This ride has so bad like it wasn't scary at all but when I went on it ( u know the part where the lights go out? ) well that happened an like all of the girls right beside me screamed there heads off INTO MY EAR!!!!

  • i remember her!! she was working haunted manion when i went

  • I went on when I was four!....well it wasn't that scarier back then! hahaha

  • It's good that the butlers and maids outside of the mansion are friendlier than inside... or else no child would want to get near the spooky mansion :)

  • Cast members make disney.. They really are so family orientated and child friendly! It just makes Disney Orlando the best family holiday :D

  • But the first part is the scariest!

  • I love this cast member - she gives the love and care to park visitors that Mr. Disney himself would be proud of.

  • @ajviapc my family loves scary rides and on my 4th b day I was at MGM ( hollywood studios ) I went on TOT and I was not scared and after that we went to mk and rode hm. I actually was 3 turning 4 and my parents did not know anything about TOT they were scared.

  • yes we know disney is really good

  • I'd go there even if I was 70+ ...but then again you have to be 6 to get truly scared

  • this ride is for like 6 yrs old....not 12+

  • this is so cute. I had the same experience when I was about that age. Maybe a little older, I would have been 6 in 1973. I remember getting as far as the entrance to the stretching room with my dad carrying me in his arms and one of the cast members explained how there are some areas of considerable darkness in the ride. That's all I needed to hear and I didn't want to go in. So my dad took me outside. I didn't get another chance to go on it until I was 16 years old.

  • What a great CM! She is the type of person that can really make a trip to DL magical :)

  • I once went to the Haunted Mansion at tokyo Disneyland at the later shift near closing time and all the japanese cast members were all being really creepy like literally they had the cast members glare you down to the seats. lol

  • This cast member really went the extra mile, Cheers!

  • This is one of the very good cast members. Very few would sit there and spend their time telling the ride of the story. I give her a thumbs up! :)

  • This makes me feel so nostalgic....

I used to be so afraid of the Haunted Mansion too! Now, its my favorite ride of all time XD

  • Haha why the hell are the Haunted Mansion Employees that nice to me when im about to go on the ride. They're acting fucking spooky and giving me the evil stare down

  • man, that little girl is a wuss

  • this has convinced me to go on haha :D

  • nice job!!!

  • This castmember is doing a great job!

The parend should understand that this attraction is not for children under the 12 years old.

  • @ajviapc ru kidding me! 12? Yeah so I live 12 years of my life and dont ride mansion? NO WAY! I loved this ride as a lil kid...it just depends on the kid...this little girl was sweet and i like that she was able to speak up about how she felt and she didnt wait till they were already inside

  • @mtakenM I went on it when I was 3 and was fine, but every kid is just different. A couple years ago my family went with another family and they had a 5 year old with them (to Disney World) He went on Dinosuar and was perfectly fine! I was freaked out on that ride. The next day we went on the Haunted Mansion and he hardly talked the rest of the night because he was so scared, which is crazy because he's the most energetic kid I've ever seen. So yeah, completley depends :p

  • @ajviapc seriously! I was scarred by this when i was 3, refused to ride it again until i was 16 :)

needless to say, it isn't scary now, but it's terrifying as a kid!

  • @ajviapc I first went on the HM when I was six and I loved it!

  • @ajviapc my mom forced me to go on that ride when i was 6. i was terrified, till i actually went in, and then i loved it. i went on it again 6 times in a row

  • @ajviapc Of course it is. It's for all ages. I went on it when I was four, and was never bothered. We just have a spineless society now that thinks we need to bubble-wrap children.

  • @ajviapc i first went on it when i was like 6 or 7 lol. BTW sorry that im replying to your year old comment

  • @ajviapc That depends on the child. I took my 2 year old on the one at WDW and he loved it.

  • @ajviapc It depends on the child. I had no problem on it as a 5 year old.

  • @ajviapc Actually, the first time I went on, I was 7 and the only thing that scared me was the stretching room. According to my parents, I screamed (but I don't believe this since I've never been a screamer, at least not from fear). The rest of the ride wasn't too bad.

  • @ajviapc oh please. anyone of any age can go on this ride

  • @ajviapc R u kidding me? Under 12 yrs old?? I say over 4 is fine

  • @ajviapc not for children under 12??

  • @ajviapc thank you!

  • @ajviapc i did this when i was 3 and my sister just did in january and she's 5. it just depends on the person thats all :)

  • I Mean UnControlable!!

  • Im Going To DisneyLand On 3/17/10 IM UNSTILL!!

  • Cute :)

  • aaw sweet!
