I feel the need to reveal to you at least one of my shortcomings (which step is that again?) ... to wit: There have been copious quantities of alcohol and other commendable ingestibles that have separated us Lo these many years ... Such is the extent that, not only can I not keep my own story straight (no pun intended), but I cannot keep straight the stories passed on to me ...
