  • Dude, i jizzed like 12 times while watching this video.

  • I need more! Please make a whole CD so I can synch it while I play RESIDENT EVIL 1-3!

  • That bass!!!! eargasm

  • needs more djent.... love this tune dude

  • kwjeolejdkdjdfnabntöabgajwgbawbtawtbåawbtåawbr

Sorry.. just wipping the jizz of my keyboard! :D

  • awesome

  • I love this! Can I marry the sound?

  • nice!

  • Meshuggah!

  • I love the tone! It's so growly, like a monster or something.

  • Is there such thing as lead bass? ^_^

This is the coolest bass sound I've ever heard

  • that is the best tone ever! what is the secret exactly?

  • that is the exact tone ive been looking for! how do you get it exactly????!!!!!

  • @mafia3331 I think the tone has a lot to do with slapping the bass

    Awesome song BTW

  • @jollywood999 That's probably right. It doesn't sound anywhere near as aggressive picked.

  • awesome fuckin song dude. badass

  • sup

whats the settings for this amazing bass sound?

and what is the shape for pod x3?

  • @dablacksolja I wouldn't be able to tell you exactly but I know it's the big bottom model tweaked like crazy. Right now we're actually using a dual tone of our big bottom model and a sub dub at the same time to kind of separate the bass sound and the distortion sound.

  • @humanbeansauce right..so u recording that song with that big bottom and the dual tone? becase I'd like to cover meshuggah's songs mainly from Nothing or Obzen? so in conclusion with only the pod x3 could have that sound?

  • @humanbeansauce and one more could u tell me the difference between pod x3 and pod pro? cuz im thinking to get one of these amazings equipments

  • @dablacksolja Yeah the sounds on the videos are with just the pod x3. I believe the x3 and the x3 pro have the same amp models, but the pro has more features as far as ins/outs. There's a comparison chart on the line 6 website.

  • Fantastic. I've spent a lot of time looking for music like this - the meshuggah-ish groove without any vocals or much lead. Hardly anyone does it. Getting a more nuanced drum track (even if programmed) will make it just right. Do you change anything in your setup or pod settings when you do the tapping?

  • @yeahwellmaybe Thanks. When we record the album the drum parts will be real; the ones on these demos are just for timing and to get the basic idea. I'm sure Andy will mix them up a bit. Yeah no changes when I switch to tapping. Just using the same tone and both pickups selected.

  • What a slap sound :O!

  • Awesome, very Meshuggah and yet not. Get out there and show all thos "djent" bands how to play.

  • whats the snare heads on this vid? how tight have you got them tuned? cheers, Tom

  • @TommyOwnzU Aquarian Hi Energy. Both the top and bottom were all the way as tight as they will go without breaking. I don't care for this sound much thanks to a mistake in mic position though. I need to resample my snare.

  • @andy15m374l cheers mate. is the hi-energy any good for a nice dry snare sound?

  • @TommyOwnzU I don't like that head. At any tension below the one I wound it up to it wasn't doing so well. I'm about to put a Remo on and use the Aquarian as a backup.

  • but i need to admit that this really good

btw pod x3.. i still dont know wich one is...the red one?the shape is like a circle right??

  • i love how simple yet destructive it is

  • I hate slap shit..

that would be sound great if play with pick

    but this...

  • @dablacksolja ..............Primus? you hate Primus? Seriously?

  • lol amberlamps

  • YEAH! You' re great guys!

  • my mind imploded, This is amazing.

  • Dude, you are fantastic! \m/

  • I love the bass tone.

You did that with pod xt ?

  • I used an x3, It's the big bottom model.

  • so freaking good sound guitar and awesome drummer

  • @KylesLimelight

The drums are programmed in this vid haha. (description)

  • this is awesome man rated and subbed!

  • human beansauce is a cool name, goofy but I like it. I also like the pants you're wearing, but the song isn't my bag.

  • Its like Meshuggah but just bass :D Awesome.

  • Cool stuff dude!

    Keep it up!

  • Ok. So your music sounds good and all. But it's waaaaaay too repetative. and the bass and drums don't contrast each other enough and have too similar of rhythms. I can only listen to about 30 seconds without wanting to punch my speakers.

  • then dont listen to it

  • @hornholio2727

You've obviouslly never listened to a Meshuggah album. =p

  • 1:22 is badass lol

  • that's a big bass lmao

  • Yeah, you can definitely hear the Meshuggah influence here.

  • really liking this one. Very cool stuff.

  • learn to phrase please...for melodies, instead of AAAA try ABAC for example... hearing the same melody with the same drum backing repeated so often with no variation is kind of hard on the brain... other than that you have some flippin amazing skills

  • wut

  • something unclear?

  • i'd think if he wanted ABAC instead of AAAA, he'd have put it there. :)

  • pft. this is better than mesh.

  • @threeDdefect psh

  • @andy15m374l psh

  • i'm proud of you though. i love you :]

  • This was really badass. Sounds a bit like Meshuggah. Totally awsome stuff.
