How's the touch on the M-Key? Can you compare it to any other board?
synastikki 1 year ago
@synastikki I can't compare it with another new board 'cause I've only vintage keyboard, however in my opinion it's very good. Switching from an hammered keyboad to this is simple and thats mean that M-Key is well balanced
dude ur fucking awsome

Owam1986 2 years ago
@Owam1986
Yeah I'm good with wood work but what about all the electrical components? are they just placed differently or did ya modify them at all?
Just placed differently. I've only rewired it 'cause all wires were too short
What type of keyboard did ya use??
Good job improvisin!
CME M-key
@Owam1986 just got one more question:
where are the other buttons that are on the original midi controller?
Near the Joystick, on the hand-wood-stick, easy to used with the fingers, in the non visible side
Cool I've designed mine an ordered the midi controller so I can get crackin!
Did ya have to mess around with the circuits at all to get the joystick and buttons of??
I dont think so
omfg you made a keytar?
how the hell do u do one O_O

oops.. xD Keytar >.>' didn't know it had a name
is that made of CME m-key? I just noticed that your joystick looks pretty similar.
synastikki 3 years ago
Yes, you're right! I used the elecronics and the controls of a m-key placed in a wooden homemade keyboard body
are you using a power adapter or have you done some you own battery-power stuff to the keytar?
In this video I used the power adapter but the keytar can also work with battery, you know... for live use
so you have made your own modifications to get it work with batteries? I'm intrested because I'm planning to build my own DIY-keytar :)
just check the voltage it takes, and just solder a battery holder to the terminals.
