  • :to tepess1000,

couldn't agreed more with you on that one, its magical

  • @truth there were plenty of guys in the mid 50's making stricly electronic music with rooms full of modular synthesizers.... Soooo you're wrong.....

  • I knew when I'd look at the comments on this video, I'd see retards who actually believe this is a Beatles cover. Guys, there are a lot of songs with the same name but it doesn't mean they're the same instrumentally.

  • if ulver is not progressive - who then?

  • heavy stuff !

  • AWESOME!!!

  • Seriously!? A cover?? Yes, the Beatles did have a song with the same title long ago. It had a trippy electronic sound, and can be arguably be considered the first song in the "electronic" music genre. Written way back in 1966, it predates this genre by a long shot.

Anyway, this song virtually bares no resemblance to that Beatles song at all. Maybe they just named the song out of tribute or something.

  • ou est la maison du fromage?

  • Amazing song.

  • 6.00-8.00 divineee !!!!

  • I like The Beatles cover of this a lot better.

  • @ballersack Never heard of em'

  • @puffintuffer and they say the american idols finalists are stupid for not knowing the beatles

  • @bookworm1138 Do you know a troll when you see one?

    You do now!

btw, Don't watch american idol,.....it'll rot your brain.....shit...too late.

  • @puffintuffer The Beatles are the band who wrote this song. This is a piss-poor cover of it.

  • @mmartin156

I'd hardly call this a cover, more of a remix than anything.

  • @mmartin156 I don't hear ANY Beatles influence whatsoever in this song, unless they had a techno album...most, if not ALL of these noises were made using a machine, did the Beatles have these type of instruments?

Oh, do you mean they had a song with the same name?

Cover? Call it what you will.

  • @ballersack What makes you think it's a cover?

  • @ballersack Beatles cover of this song? THEY WROTE THE SONG! THIS is a cover, and it isn't even a good one!

  • @mmartin156 This does not seem to be a cover of that song. Have you even heard the Beatles one? Nothing alike. Comparing apples to lozenges.

  • the outro to this song sounds like Silent Hill music.

  • this is one of the best albums ever

  • soundtrack for night.

  • Shadows of the sun was the last best album Ulver has done stuff like this is too long and boring I'd hate this too be the last song i heard before i died yawn if you like this stuff check out When he kicks ass compared to this Lars Pederson is the master of this stuff

  • lol! I like how subhuman got a thumbs-down because someone probably gave it out of rage before they read the rest of the post.

    face/palm!

  • @foamingxpanda you called me subhuman what's that supposed to mean

  • He just wrote the first half of your nickname...

  • i fucking hope this is not a beatles cover because they just disgraced the greatest band ever with this electronic garbage

    kidding!

i hope they didn't cover the beatles though because the beatles fucking suck ass

  • This song is unbelievable! One of the greatest tunes I`ve heard.

  • de siste "musikkene" han har kommet ut med er geniale.. var de som jeg ble narkoman av. Euforia.

  • im in love with this song

  • The last 2 minutes of this song is the most sublime sound Ulver has ever created.

  • @tepes1000 what's sublime?

  • Comment removed

  • myself I prefer their first albums such as: Bergtatt - Et Eeventyr i 5 Capitler, Kveldssanger and Nattens Madrigal - Aatte Hymne til Ulven i Manden.

  • hell yeah Nattens Madrigal is the fucking shit!!

  • Me too. Bergtatt is one of my favourite albums and it's perfect mix of Black Metal and Folk music make it innovative in it's own right

  • it's surprising nattens madrigal came after bergtatt and kveldssanger, considering it's so raw. bergtatt, even though it's their first one, sounds like a cross between nattens and kveldssanger.

  • I know what your saying, most bands do different styles then combine them later on, but Ulver did the opposite making a black/folk metal album then a pure folk and pure black metal record as follow ups

  • Wow. Beautiful. Love it.
