Principals in NSW tend to be older and more bigoted than in other states. I've worked in QLD and Victoria and they tend to have younger and more progressive Principals. NSW Principals, are more prone to making decisions based on prejudice, help "the old boys club" keep older ideas stagnating progress of the school. This also fairly circulates people "doing time" from Outback stations back to the coast. The Liberals also had this system.

Well..in NSW the Labor Govt is going to give the principal the right to HIRE and FIRE. So if the new principal that starts at my kids local shool next term wants a change he can fire the staff that have been there 20 years and hire who he likes.THAT SHOULD BE GOOD FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION!!ALL BY A LABOR GOVT!
