  • I am an airplane mechanic, I have some videos of the planes I work on. I want to get my pilot license eventually as well, check out some of my vids when you can. Btw we had a Cessna 172 that was originally owned by a lawyer who passed on and his wife gave it to us because it just sat after he died. While I was going there we where actually able to get the motor running and fixed a few other things on it as well. Pretty roomy plane!

  • thats cool

  • Love the 30x part. Cool beans Pheak

  • man u were right there on the centre line....amazing feet !

  • Yeah, it's good. But it says in the description, the camera is mounted on the right main gear, so really he's to the left of where he should be.

  • That was amazing! I am stunned by the quality of the footage - especially the low-light stuff at the end. I bought a similar camera to yours, but it doesn't come out nearly as well as yours does. Guess I need to buy an Aiptek.

What frame-rate were you recording at? I never saw the prop once - rare for footage like this.

    Kudos!

  • amazing i really cant wait to be a pilot

  • great!!!!

  • Great movie, love the idea! Say; were you not worried you had accidentely dropped the camera when the strut shifted after takeoff and landing?

Good job and great flying. Wish you further pleasant such!

  • incredible! I love the 30x speed part.

  • That is awesome! What did you use to strap the camera to the gear? Seems like it'd have to be pretty strong...maybe a whole roll of duct tape? haha I'm curious to try that myself...

  • I put a piece of foam (from a hard drive shipping box, actually) between the camera and the gear, then tied the camera to the gear with two standard large PVC "zip ties". Pretty simple, actually.

The only difficulty I experienced at first was that the camera will not operate with the screen "closed". But you can turn the screen around backwards and "close it" with the LCD facing out and it will stay on.
