@uxwbill I jsut grab them from the scrap yard and return them in slightly worse condition :D. they don't care.

@Aussie50 I see a lot of them going to the scrapyard here, and almost all were expensive front loaders. That much really doesn't come as a shock. Not sure if I can talk them out of any or not, the scrapyards here are oddly protective of their stuff.

Any word on whether or not that battery learned a lesson and took a charge like it should? :-)

@uxwbill yeh a lot of yards are protective here too, usually scared of liability if you hurt yourself with whatever it is you got off them.

I should try the battery this weekend, no leaks in the case or anything as far as I can tell :D

I had the 'ramp' idea a few years ago with my mum's old washer, but the bearing was too far gone to go in to a full-spin, so I never got to try it out....But you have though! YAY!
