  • What process did you use to transfer the super 8 to the computer?

  • great work! Loved that you shot it on video as well. Those color tinted scenes also work exceptionally well and look wonderful. Love it!

  • All of the scenes were shot on Super 8 film.

The title cards were added in the computer though. Thanks for enjoying the film! :)

  • If you want to make a real silent film era style, always remember that your movement should be fast and jerky because silent films were recorded between 16 to 23 frames per, all your acting are on the modern 24 frame per second. Also don't put too much intertitles, silent film fans expects from you more on acting than reading your scripts.

  • giving the kid a dollar would have been the equivalent of giving him 11.29 by today's standards

  • That Arthur guy acts like Harold Lloyd but looks like Groucho Marx! haha That is very similar to real silent comedies; I enjoyed it. Even the image quality looks like a Grapevine release!

  • I really liked the effects you used, the small man day dream and the colorized film. Some parts I thought dragged but working with film is hard and everything looks smooth. Silent film is pretty cool, huh? Watch my video and leave a comment!

  • Cohen,

    Very cool! :)
