The Honda 2hp is great for trolling around. It will do 6mph on the GPS which is fine for rivers, lakes and beach. I wouldn't take it anywhere where there is a strong tide. It needs a bit more power to plane. Upside is that it will run flat out for more than an hour on 1 litre of standard 4 stroke fuel. Hope that helps.
How is the engine in the sea ? Does that power is enough for one person ( for example ) because in Your case is more then one person. I ask, because I have the same honda engine with 3 metres inflatable boat and I have wondering about that. Thanks and have a nice day.
@lordlugworm Hi, yes we cruised back acros the beach. Could do with a bigger outboard but I like to keep things light and portable, less stress. See my other videos of my other boat which involves more effort.
