As a veteran Vue user, I know this is actually real footage but AMAZING , I only dream of the day Vue can pull some of these things off. Its damn close now, but still missing some of the dynamic elements like a solid particle system.

@shagr14 in my opininon the day will never come (and i am a veteran vue user since version 6 and really like the software). Vue really is close to natural realism but nature will never be completely imitated by any 3d software, thats impossible but not a problem. Vue rocks :D

I think you'll find the confusion people are having with it being an animation is because there is piece of software called Vue, which allows people to make super realistic landscapes, so this real footage is blowing people's minds a bit! :D

A beautiful video indeed. It is extremely SAD to see that soon within a few more generations, many of these sights that we have taken for granted may be gone forever. At timecode 6:49, I felt really motified seeing a large portion of the continent covered in desert and desert expansion is increasing at an alarming pace.

So what's left for the future generations? Only videos like these for posterity? Very sad to think about it...
