Please can someone help me... I want the whole show on a DVD to give to my Swedish wife to remind her of her home town! I have looked all over the internet to buy either just this one or the whole series, but to no avail! Does anyone know where or how I can achieve this?
Homemade swedish peasoup is one of the best dishes in the world. Try it with the special swedish type of alcohol that is called punsch that is served hot.
@ITALOVER2 thank you for your opinion indeed.... I realy don't want to argue with you or clarify something, but if you think that learning a language has something to do with the beauty of the own language and how much you love speaking your language, than i am quite surprised that you are a teacher, i would have expected some more wisdom from some one who dedicated his life to teaching others..... AND why are you ENGLISH teacher, when those roman languages are so beautiful...
..I was at a fermented herring party ones. 9 years old. scarred for life. I was told I was invited to just A PARTY, got there, a girl my age ran up to me and grabbed my arm "They're about to open the can" "What can?" "THE FERMENTED HERRING". Needless to say I ran with her for my life, out of the house as the stink bomb went off
@britishaussie22 you have clearly never been to Sweden. The foreign TVprograms are not dubbed, we only have subtitles. That means that we hear english every day in our everyday life.
Many swedish artist sings in english, because were such a small country, that way more people can understand the lyrics and they might sell a lot of cds in Germany or England and so on.
actually most european peolple speak english, except the french and the italians!!! But i agree the swedish speak english very well, they are so to speak, the swiss from the north!!
@britishaussie22 We have this thing, kind of like an institution, called school where they teach us all these crazy stuff like maths, geography and foreign languages.
1:25 doesn't that look alot like the crown princess?

We don't use that much olive oil in typically Swedish food... Sourcream, yes, but not olive oil in those massive amounts. Just saying ;)

Fyfan, gjorde lumpen på K1, där han käkar ärtsoppa.
Måste vara ärlig och säga att Lumpens ärtsoppa har gjort så att jag aldrig mera vill äta ärtsoppa. Rätt så äcklig var den.

haha everyone should smell it. It's impossible to explain the stench, you need to smell it to understand how disgusting it is.
