  • We don't use that much olive oil in typically Swedish food... Sourcream, yes, but not olive oil in those massive amounts. Just saying ;)

  • Homemade swedish peasoup is one of the best dishes in the world. Try it with the special swedish type of alcohol that is called punsch that is served hot.

  • I'm coming to Sweden next summer! Their landscapes look so lovely and almost everyone seems to speak excellent english

  • Fyfan, gjorde lumpen på K1, där han käkar ärtsoppa.

    Måste vara ärlig och säga att Lumpens ärtsoppa har gjort så att jag aldrig mera vill äta ärtsoppa. Rätt så äcklig var den.

I realy don't want to argue with you or clarify something, but if you think that learning a language has something to do with the beauty of the own language and how much you love speaking your language, than i am quite surprised that you are a teacher, i would have expected some more wisdom from some one who dedicated his life to teaching others..... AND why are you ENGLISH teacher, when those roman languages are so beautiful...

  • @britishaussie22 you have clearly never been to Sweden. The foreign TVprograms are not dubbed, we only have subtitles. That means that we hear english every day in our everyday life.

    Many swedish artist sings in english, because were such a small country, that way more people can understand the lyrics and they might sell a lot of cds in Germany or England and so on.

    well we dont have voiceovers on our movies or anythign on tv. Its jsut subtitles:P so that way u learn reaaaally fast=)

    actually most european peolple speak english, except the french and the italians!!! But i agree the swedish speak english very well, they are so to speak, the swiss from the north!!

  • @britishaussie22 English is one of the main classes in school in Sweden. some even start teaching English in first grade
