@mrslybruce hey packer fans how you enjoing your last game vs the giants. we didnt choke. the saints hit favre 5 seconds after he threw the ball. refs and favre's pick. moslty the refs. the packers are the first 15 and 1 team to be one and done. how do you like that history. Aaron rodgers overated. not better than peyton or eli manning
Brett Favre is a Legend! What a pass tho, and to the rookie Lewis! His didnt have to work too hard for his first catch in the NFL. Favre puts it right in his hands :)
@sauerkraut89 LOL "Refs cost the game" "We lost because of the Refs" Stop right there, seriously you're acting like a damn child. Face the fact you guys lost. Brett threw an interception because he acts like he's bigger then the organization itself, the Refs didn't cause him to throw that interception, nor did they cause the Saints to win. It's funny, he did it to the Packers, we send his ass out the next year, people laugh at us when he does good for the Vikings, then he blows it. Packers win!
@GOllumboy101 people wernt saying that the refs caused the interception, but if the refs called all the late hits, hits below the knee, and other calls the interception wouldn't of mattered because the vikings would of been up. And he thinks hes bigger than the organization? Why do u think that? Cause he didn't want to retire? He loves the game cant blame anyone for that. and that hit were Fayre got injured in the game was an Illegal hit. It was below the knee. Go back and watch it
This is one of those plays where I remember exactly what I was doing and probably always will. Went to the apple orchard with the family so I missed almost the entire game. Listening to this drive on the way home. Walked in the door turned on the TV and he just snapped the ball and I was able to witness one of the best clutch touchdowns in NFL history as it happened. Simply amazing.
If you guys make it to the Superbowl, you better hope you don't play the Ravens. Their defense will show Aaron Rodgers and the rest of his flopper wide receivers what it's really like to play against a true defense.
@agentwhite102 Over the past 3 seasons and playoffs, they've played against the Steelers twice, the Ravens, the Bears multiple times, etc...I think they have an idea what a true defense is. The issue with the Ravens, is that they have an EXTREMELY overrated QB in Flacco who craps his pants when he needs to throw the ball over 30 times a gam
shoulda beaten the saints that year. the vikes were on top of the world. the refs were definitely on the saints side because the defense hit favre way late after he threw it and no flags
@kopper216 yea and im a saints fan and im from mississippi, so i didnt know who 2 pull for. but when the saints were doing all that dirty shit, i hoped the vikes would win
@barto11000 hmmm..... it was a last second victory im 100% postive that any NFL team would act like this o and one more thing FOR ALL PACKER FANS FUCK YOU!
@SinclairDelux They arent Farve dickriders. If you look at the highlights, they review it and call it a TD. He dragged his right foot on the turf before going out of bounds.
we would of been i the superbowl if the refs wernt dicks I BET U 100 BUCKS THAT THEY WANTED THE SAINTS TO WIN EVEN ESPN SAID THE REFS WERE BAD IN THAT GAME
This is the last Vikings game I actually went to, so you better keep an eye out Dec 4 when we play the Broncos, cause if history of games I've been to has anything to say it should be a close game where the Vikes win late. SKOL
damn, that was a great pass and catch. Favre should have taken the Vikes to the super bowl, but he made a stupid play, like he often did, in the game against the Saints. Im a Packer fan, by the way.
This was an amazing play, one of the greatest clutch plays in history, no doubt. However all the Viking fanboys using this video to bitch and moan, as well as to spread your conspiracy theories, shut up. I happen to like the Vikings alot, but you guys sure embarrass the people who have half a brain.

You Viqueen fans are still going on about that? The whole ref conspiracy? Well, now ya got a different old washed up QB to lead ya to the promised land....of Los Angeles.
The game was rigged, no 2 ways about it, any Saint fan with a brain (sook hard to find) knows they got a gift from the refs. You can bet if the Vikes had been pulling that crap (ie nailing the QB a good 10 secs after the ball is gone) the refs would be flagging them. Bought and paid for.

@barto11000 Ha. We "Clowns" turned most of GB's prior players into stars. Longwell, Favre, Sharper and so on. They all had their best season WITH the Vikings. Green Bay, among New Orleans, are one of the most undeserving teams to go and win the Super Bowl. You look at all the best years we had compared to GB's and NO's seasons so far. The Vikings surpass both franchises in respect and deserving victory than either team.
@p1k4nurxp13sr Yeah I'm trying not to disrespect the two teams I just think some fans take it all for granted. I mean look at what kind of years they had as they got to the Super Bowl. More than any other team without a Super Bowl, the Vikes deserve it the most. That's all I'm pointing out. Ravens look alright this year. My bro is a Ravens fan too. ha
man, we blew it in the nfc championship game... the refs were bs of course but we had turnovers. this only happens once in a decade for the vikes, last time was 1998...
you wanna know something? the refs gave the game to the saints. their were about 10 or more roughing the passer penalties not called in that game, it was an injustice to see a legendary player take a beating from worthless no name defensive players who will never play as long as Favre did and will never even taste the hall of fame. the saints clearly cheated in that game and had no business going to the super bowl, it was supposed to be a duel between Brett Favre and Peyton Manning.
@DieHardSportsFan92 ironically, i am watching the bullshit calls as we speak. in overtime when he clearly didnt make it fourth and inches but they still didnt overturn it in BOOTH REVIEW! that was the win for us. all the roughing the passer calls that werent, the uncatchable ball, the touchdown that wasnt a touchdown. and i comment this stuff on the highlights all the time but get attacked by arrogant saints fans who literally will not see the refs flaws. we wouldve won the whole thing too.
i may not be a vikings fan but i really respect the vikings, I find myself rooting for them when they play teams like the bears or cowboys, teams I truly hate. that season, that team they were special, and they were robbed by an overrated saints team that had the nfl's easiest schedule that year. all they did was pick on young and underexperienced quarterbacks like Matt Stafford, Kevin Kolb, Mark Sanchez, Chad Henne, Matt Ryan, Trent Edwards, Matt Moore, Craig Null, and Josh Freeman
i wish that madden used each teams radio guy to do the commentary. what i mean by that is like if u played at the vikings stadium ud here paul allen at gillete ud here gil just that kinda stuff thatd b crazy
and favre didnt lose them the game at all.... be for half 1 yard line ap fumbles and coming out of a time out 1st time ever in a playoff gm to many men on the field wtf is that all they had 2 do is run ... the coach wasn't ready 4 a pass play and came up with a dumb play .. also their were alot more reasons u cant blame favre 4 that loss
really.. are there other crazy people like me too who are re-visiting the memory lane after 2 years of this game.. i am shocked and amused.. I love Brett but I think he should have stay retired last year and of course stay retired this year too..
@lorettahammer26 Go fuck yourself! The Packers sucked for a long time before Brett showed up in 92! Brett gave Green Bay so many great memories! All the 4th quarter comebacks, game winning throws, the toughness, his love for the game, I can go on and on and on. Ofcourse the superbowl victory as well. If you want to just dwell on the negative have fun with that bullshit, there is more positive than negative by far.
@FistsOfFury21 The Packers went 10-6 in 89, went to the playoffs in 82 and went 8-8 in 81 and from 83-85, so no they didn't suck for a long time before he got there. How is there more positive than negative about Favre? Look at all the playoff appearances he had with the Pack. How many rings does he have to show for it? Rodgers won it all in his 2nd playoff appearance as the starting QB and won SB MVP, unlike Favre. Who knows how far the Pack would have gone if they had a defense in 2009.
@wasbro1 I hate to be THAT GUY.... No i don't.... The Vikes wouldnt have even been in the NFC Championship Game if it wasnt for Brett Favre. He gave us his best statistical season of his career, it was a great ride and a ton of fun to watch them that year. He helped shape Percy Harvin into the team leader he is now and was nothing but positive to the team that year.
@wasbro1 we all know that the saints had to cheat to win that game. late hits on favre every single down. the refs gave that game to the saints. the pick was bad, but not as bad as the game's refereeing.
@wasbro1 actually, TRUE vikings fans always support their team no matter what. that being said, i don't understand how anyone could honestly hate brett... accomplishments aside, he's just a funny and laid back guy who always cracked me up during interviews.
@wasbro1 bitch, frerotte, or tarvaris jackson wouldn't have gotten your team more than 6 wins. brett TOOK YOUR TEAM ON HIS SHOULDERS all the way to the NFC championship game, and you say "Fuck Him"?.....wow..........i hope mcnabb, ponder, webb all combine to go 3-13. with the 3 wins coming exclusively from Adrian Peterson's talents.
@rebelsvikesfan12 exactly. could you imagine if we had tjack running the show in 09? I bet we would've won 9 games at most with tjack. we wouldn't have gotten to the nfc championship in 09 without favre, and favre didn't cost us that game - the fumbles did.
@APviKINGsz28 No, pretty sure favre did. I mean hey I credit the guy a hundred percent for getting us as far as we got, but anybody who watched that game knows brett fucked both himself and the vikings out of a super bowl. It was an awful decision on his part, and while the fumbles and turnovers hurt us, we were still on the brink of victory before he did that.
@D71234 Blame it on the refs of course... I guess you'll be saying it was rigged next right? You got beat by the better team simple as that. Championship teams always find a way to come out on top in the end even if they're outplayed. The refs didn't throw that pick or lose those fumbles. Deal with it.
@TheOdanrav Your wrong. We did have game changing turnovers. But did you even watch the game? Because Favre got hit soooo many times after he threw the ball. They didnt call any penalties. The refs didnt play a fair game.
NFC championship game....farve could have ran the ball roughly 10 yards for an easy field goal attempt for brian longwell but no, what does farve do? he throws the ball and turned out to be an interception return for the NO saints. vikings lost that game cuz of the interception
@Exessen I am sorry for you if you truly, genuinely believe that. The Vikings lost two must-win games late in the season vs Carolina and vs Chicago with the #1 seed on the line. They win those and the NFCC is played in the Metrodome, not the Superdome. Would have been huge for them, but they couldn't make it happen. And then they lost in the playoffs. At no point did they exhibit anything that would lead one to believe they were the best team in the NFL. They failed at every opportunity.
@militiagung64 U mind telling me what team was the best then in 2009? If you say Saints, the Vikings dominated them in every category except turnovers.
terry bradshaws stats arent as great but he has 3 rings so how do YOU measure greatness at QB position? alot has to do with team around them. yeah the last decade and a half the passing game has really evolved but what about the guys who had to do it on a team with a sorry supporting cast? like farve did. nothing against sterling sharpe or dorsey levens but the rest of the time he was throwing to mediocre talent until driver, walker, and jennings came along
im talkn about the sure fact of brett went out there and laid it all on the line and left it on the field. has he put up numbers like brady or manning? no but he wins and if he didnt he gave his all to try, he didnt always make the best choice but you new that he was good for a miracle comeback from time to time. and i would take farve over those two guys any day. as far as the history of the game goes i havent forgottin that JIM BROWN, EARL CAMPBELL, AND WALTER PAYTON made the game retard!
@Teejization seems to not no anything about football. all the comments seem as though a 12 year old who just started to watch the game made them. learn the aspects of the game before you decide to make any comments.
@adriandiver527527 uhhhh, what?? if you mean to appreciate the aspects of the game then look at its history....its has only recently evolved into a passing league, therefore only adding measurables to the individual statistics....since you said "learn the aspects", then look at the game's history....you only further validate my argument of ind. stats being meaningless.....god you're dumb, and please don't waste my time again you noob
@Teejization im talkn about the sure fact of brett went out there and laid it all on the line and left it on the field. he wins and if he didnt he gave his all to try, he didnt always make the best choice but you new that he was good for a miracle comeback from time to time. and i would take farve over those two guys any day. as far as the history of the game goes i havent forgottin that JIM BROWN, EARL CAMPBELL, AND WALTER PAYTON made the game retard!
@adriandiver527527 okay...1- you need to learn to type and spell correctly....2- campbell and payton were around in the 80s, hardly players who made the game...the nfl has been around since the 1930s and the NFL and AFL merged in early 1970s......you don't know shit so stop trying to argue with me
You make some good points but the NFL was around in the 1920's and the AFL and NFL merged in the late 60's. Just thought I'd help you out. but I do agr

you wanna know something? the refs gave the game to the saints. their were about 10 or more roughing the passer penalties not called in that game, it was an injustice to see a legendary player take a beating from worthless no name defensive players who will never play as long as Favre did and will never even taste the hall of fame. the saints clearly cheated in that game and had no business going to the super bowl, it was supposed to be a duel between Brett Favre and Peyton Manning.
DieHardSportsFan92 5 months ago
@DieHardSportsFan92 ironically, i am watching the bullshit calls as we speak. in overtime when he clearly didnt make it fourth and inches but they still didnt overturn it in BOOTH REVIEW! that was the win for us. all the roughing the passer calls that werent, the uncatchable ball, the touchdown that wasnt a touchdown. and i comment this stuff on the highlights all the time but get attacked by arrogant saints fans who literally will not see the refs flaws. we wouldve won the whole thing too.
amazin465 5 months ago
i may not be a vikings fan but i really respect the vikings, I find myself rooting for them when they play teams like the bears or cowboys, teams I truly hate. that season, that team they were special, and they were robbed by an overrated saints team that had the nfl's easiest schedule that year. all they did was pick on young and underexperienced quarterbacks like Matt Stafford, Kevin Kolb, Mark Sanchez, Chad Henne, Matt Ryan, Trent Edwards, Matt Moore, Craig Null, and Josh Freeman
DieHardSportsFan92 5 months ago
@amazin465 i dont see it happening again..and i love the vikes. but the need to start using Ponder more often.

@amazin465 man thank you, I thought I was the only one who thought the calls the refs made were bs

FistsOfFury21 5 months ago
@lorettahammer26 Go fuck yourself! The Packers sucked for a long time before Brett showed up in 92! Brett gave Green Bay so many great memories! All the 4th quarter comebacks, game winning throws, the toughness, his love for the game, I can go on and on and on. Ofcourse the superbowl victory as well. If you want to just dwell on the negative have fun with that bullshit, there is more positive than negative by far.
FistsOfFury21 5 months ago
@FistsOfFury21 The Packers went 10-6 in 89, went to the playoffs in 82 and went 8-8 in 81 and from 83-85, so no they didn't suck for a long time before he got there. How is there more positive than negative about Favre? Look at all the playoff appearances he had with the Pack. How many rings does he have to show for it? Rodgers won it all in his 2nd playoff appearance as the starting QB and won SB MVP, unlike Favre. Who knows how far the Pack would have gone if they had a defense in 2009.

NFC Championship game. Fuck you forever Brett Favre.
wasbro1 6 months ago
@wasbro1 I hate to be THAT GUY.... No i don't.... The Vikes wouldnt have even been in the NFC Championship Game if it wasnt for Brett Favre. He gave us his best statistical season of his career, it was a great ride and a ton of fun to watch them that year. He helped shape Percy Harvin into the team leader he is now and was nothing but positive to the team that year.
rebelsvikesfan12 5 months ago 2
@rebelsvikesfan12 Then he fucked us in the ass with that pick. Fuck him.
wasbro1 5 months ago
@wasbro1 we all know that the saints had to cheat to win that game. late hits on favre every single down. the refs gave that game to the saints. the pick was bad, but not as bad as the game's refereeing.
fatallyyrs27 5 months ago
@fatallyyrs27 Stfu. Remember the hatred you felt towards Brett when he threw that pick. Bathe in it. Favre is forever an enemy of TRUE Vikings fans..
wasbro1 5 months ago
@wasbro1 actually, TRUE vikings fans always support their team no matter what. that being said, i don't understand how anyone could honestly hate brett... accomplishments aside, he's just a funny and laid back guy who always cracked me up during interviews.
fatallyyrs27 5 months ago
@wasbro1 bitch, frerotte, or tarvaris jackson wouldn't have gotten your team more than 6 wins. brett TOOK YOUR TEAM ON HIS SHOULDERS all the way to the NFC championship game, and you say "Fuck Him"?.....wow..........i hope mcnabb, ponder, webb all combine to go 3-13. with the 3 wins coming exclusively from Adrian Peterson's talents.
YouWantMeYouCantPay 5 months ago
@YouWantMeYouCantPay Nah I say fuck you.
wasbro1 5 months ago
@rebelsvikesfan12 exactly. could you imagine if we had tjack running the show in 09? I bet we would've won 9 games at most with tjack. we wouldn't have gotten to the nfc championship in 09 without favre, and favre didn't cost us that game - the fumbles did.
APviKINGsz28 5 months ago
@APviKINGsz28 No, pretty sure favre did. I mean hey I credit the guy a hundred percent for getting us as far as we got, but anybody who watched that game knows brett fucked both himself and the vikings out of a super bowl. It was an awful decision on his part, and while the fumbles and turnovers hurt us, we were still on the brink of victory before he did that.

Abyssman99 5 months ago
@stalls17
The refs admitted that they were in favor of the saints. They made a lot of calls in favor of the saints. Vikings would have won..
D71234 5 months ago
@D71234 Blame it on the refs of course... I guess you'll be saying it was rigged next right? You got beat by the better team simple as that. Championship teams always find a way to come out on top in the end even if they're outplayed. The refs didn't throw that pick or lose those fumbles. Deal with it.
TheOdanrav 4 months ago
@TheOdanrav Your wrong. We did have game changing turnovers. But did you even watch the game? Because Favre got hit soooo many times after he threw the ball. They didnt call any penalties. The refs didnt play a fair game.
zGwKHD 4 months ago
@stalls17
NFC championship game....farve could have ran the ball roughly 10 yards for an easy field goal attempt for brian longwell but no, what does farve do? he throws the ball and turned out to be an interception return for the NO saints. vikings lost that game cuz of the interception

@stalls17 In a way, they kinda did. They got bull-shitted repeatedly in overtime by the Refs in the NFC game.

@stalls17 I can. Not surprised Favre and the Vikings choked in the NFC Championship.

@stalls17 I can't, either. As great as the Saints were that year the Vikings had them beat until Favre became Favre at the worst time.

@stalls17 What, does the third best team in the NFL usually win the Super Bowl? I must be watching the wrong sport.
militiagung64 4 months ago
@militiagung64 The Vikings were the best team by far in 2009
Exessen 3 months ago
@Exessen I am sorry for you if you truly, genuinely believe that. The Vikings lost two must-win games late in the season vs Carolina and vs Chicago with the #1 seed on the line. They win those and the NFCC is played in the Metrodome, not the Superdome. Would have been huge for them, but they couldn't make it happen. And then they lost in the playoffs. At no point did they exhibit anything that would lead one to believe they were the best team in the NFL. They failed at every opportunity.
militiagung64 3 months ago
@militiagung64 U mind telling me what team was the best then in 2009? If you say Saints, the Vikings dominated them in every category except turnovers.
Exessen 3 months ago
I just wish Brett Favre was like this on his NFC Championship games
godlike899 6 months ago
and the following year for him and the Vikes. Brett was broken, his streak over,a Sex scandal, coach Fired, staduim fell apart, and a losing season.
and Aaron Rodgers and the Pack A-Rod SB XLV MVP and the Packers won the SuperBowl.

terry bradshaws stats arent as great but he has 3 rings so how do YOU measure greatness at QB position? alot has to do with team around them. yeah the last decade and a half the passing game has really evolved but what about the guys who had to do it on a team with a sorry supporting cast? like farve did. nothing against sterling sharpe or dorsey levens but the rest of the time he was throwing to mediocre talent until driver, walker, and jennings came along
adriandiver527527 6 months ago

dan marino never won a super bowl but he has great individual stats does that make him overrated????
adriandiver527527 6 months ago
im talkn about the sure fact of brett went out there and laid it all on the line and left it on the field. has he put up numbers like brady or manning? no but he wins and if he didnt he gave his all to try, he didnt always make the best choice but you new that he was good for a miracle comeback from time to time. and i would take farve over those two guys any day. as far as the history of the game goes i havent forgottin that JIM BROWN, EARL CAMPBELL, AND WALTER PAYTON made the game retard!
adriandiver527527 6 months ago
@Teejization seems to not no anything about football. all the comments seem as though a 12 year old who just started to watch the game made them. learn the aspects of the game before you decide to make any comments.
adriandiver527527 6 months ago
@adriandiver527527 uhhhh, what?? if you mean to appreciate the aspects of the game then look at its history....its has only recently evolved into a passing league, therefore only adding measurables to the individual statistics....since you said "learn the aspects", then look at the game's history....you only further validate my argument of ind. stats being meaningless.....god you're dumb, and please don't waste my time again you noob
