  • @klauzes He's South Korean. Why do you spread negative Asian stereotypes? Why can't you just appreciate this kid's talent and leave it at that?

  • sungha, i love it when you play classical music.

i think your take on those pieces would be wonderful.

  • fucking good ! :o :D

  • Ole !!!!!!!!!

  • How many fingers have you got ???? :O

    10 ? Sure ??

    ;D Really good !

  • you have magic hands xD

  • He is a living proof that space aliens are already on this planet. Human beings can not play like that. Or maybe he is a new advanced robot by NASA.

  • @KARLOSYTMX

    aLaska Piks

  • What kind of fingerpicks is he using?

  • Regards from mexico that wonderful talent

  • The Bolero never did anything for me, but played like this I get the feeling of the chill this bolero should give..I have goosebumps

  • SUPAHLOVE IT!!!

  • Whats that thing he has on the top of guitar?

  • @BetoMelancia :an electronic tuner

  • DAAMNN!!!

  • godlike...

  • Super t trop fortttt

  • Oshio's arrangement is the standout here and Sungha does it justice. Listen to other arrangements by searching on bolero and guitar. Bolero should be eherial, cosmic. This is the only arrangement I've heard that gets it done. Sungha, your first video of this peice is still my favorite.

  • good

  • AMAZING!!!!! I enjoy listening to your music....keep up the good work!! :D

  • Geez, this song is like a story of a sane, calm person starting to go crazy and in the end: maniacal.

  • Uno nunca acaba de aprender: cuando es joven, aprende de los mayores y cuando es mayor, aprende de los jóvenes.

    Simplemente genial. Saludos.

  • What do you call those things on his fingers?

  • @myunicorniseatingme Alaska pik

  • @davidorbachmusic:

Far be it from me to suppose that your racism is curable. But for what it's worth, Sungha has composed about 25 original pieces. Most of the world's greatest musicians have played the compositions of others; that's one of the main reasons they are written in the first place.

    How many have you written?

  • @davidorbachmusic Why the racism bro, chill out and respect talent wherever it is, don't be a hater, be a Human being please.

  • wow! this is shown in KBS!... but why?

is it a t.v program or something?

  • This is probably about the 20th time I've listened to this and it is just pure ear candy!

  • Beyond best

  • men just accept it , the boy got skills, don be jelous of him

  • Genial!

  • does not matter how much you think you are good in something. There always will be an asian kid better than you!

  • @darkburns Very creative comment. Like I haven't seen that racist crap before...

  • Sungha you are pretty skillful but u need to put some heart on each song. Just feel it bro

  • this is the digimon song :D

  • he will be famous someday...just wait and see!haha...that was just how I feel about him!

  • Rhytmus likes me.

  • nice sungha..... i like~~ ^_^

  • lets make it easy-@1016Freedom1016: Sungha Jung=good. You and your opinion=crap.

  • @xxx----yup may tagalog, (anak) search mo lang.

  • GREAT!

  • Where can I download the backing track? jk :P

  • Astonishing, amazing, pure magic .... it's all that and more! I love that song. It takes me back to Torvill and Dean's 1984 Olympic free dance, in which they skated to Maurice Ravel's Boléro. Sungha Jung is without a doubt one of the best young guitarists the world is blessed to hear! Bravissimo!

  • meron bah xang pinoy songs?? si ko alam un ahh! !

  • @LegaCyxx123 bolero de ravel ang buong name ng song. isa syang musical score by maurice ravel for a ballet dance tungkol sa dalawang lovers na nagkagalit but instead mag away sila nag make love sila. eto ung sayaw na yun. pakinggan mo how it started slow and ending super powerful at parang galit.. (imagine mo ang feeling ng story sa song. it was very famous mas maganda siguro if orchestra pakinggan mo than this). it's a lover's dance. di siya filipino at all.

  • @zilox50 aLam ko po yun..ang ibiG konG sabihin yung "ANAK by Freddie aguilar" na tinugtug nya kamakailan lang!..

  • Very Nice..

    (SMILES)

  • Bonjour, je recherche la tablature de ce morceau, où pourrais-je l'avoir?? merci

Hello, I look for the tablature of this piece, where could I have him it?? i don't find it on internet =/ Thank you

  • yea he is not bolero!!! tama ba mga repapips d:-p

  • It seems arranged by Queen on guitar! o_O

  • it's sooo beautiful... but not really Bolero... :(

  • @alnvida what do mean not really bolero 0_o?

  • @Sixtiesera it doesn't sound like a typical bolero music.. maybe I'm just used to listening to native latino bolero music... but I'm not talking down on him.. he is great... I watched all his video... I have a lot of respect for him, maybe it's just not the typical bolero that I've listened to most of my life. I"m sorry if I seemed offensive.

  • @alnvida He is not playing a musical style as you suggested, he is playing a particular composition by Maurice Ravel titled Bolari as the title claims. Look it up on Youtube and you will find he did a great job but the origional is over 17 minutes in length.

  • @beldragos Thank you so much... now I understand... lol... I will do that... I'm stuck on Bolero and with guitars that's the first thing that comes to mind. Thank you belgdragos for clearing it up. I will check it out. I'm sure i will like it just as well..

  • @alnvida it's ok haha i see that you understand now :)

  • @Sixtiesera I do... hahaha.. just a little slow.. lol thanks!

  • @alnvida haha no problem ;D

  • PS. Sungha's guitar play of 'Bolero' is great

(no matter what his personal upbringing is/ was ... for all I know he comes from a loving and supporting family ...and if he didn't, so what ..his talent is his own independent achievement)) (replying once more to 'AlexJuanOrtiz')

Just listen to BOLERO ..Sungha captured all the 'moves' perfectly well ! Perhaps only the ending is a little 'weak' in places ...but who can criticize this ..? unless they can play Bolero on guitar better themselves

  • God has a name : SUNGHA JUNG !

  • OHH DAMN!! he went on TV?? damn i should have watched kbs1... i didnt knw he went on tv..

  • THIS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU START TO RAISE YOUR CHILDREN RIGHT WHEN YOU EXPOSE THEM TO HIGHER THINKING NOT FOOTBALL AND HOTDOGS.

  • @AlexJuanOrtiz

OK. And how many children do you have ? ( if any..) and what do they do .?

(I don't mean this as an attack .. just replying to your own statement))

Musical talent and ambition is nothing much to do with how a child is raised. It comes from within their own self and a need to express their own self. A lot of great artists came from deprived backgrounds, which was in fact the reason why they were so sensitive and eager to express themselves and do well at being successful artists

  • @Sixtiesera

    It's "Bolero" by Maurice Ravel.

  • @MilicaTheOrdinary i know that, i was asking what "Tuning" it was in? lol :)

  • @Sixtiesera

    Standard:

    E A D G B E the changes are

    C G C G B E!!

  • @jbaseballci16 thanks :) & by changes do you mean chords?

  • @Sixtiesera no by changees i mean the change in the string

  • @jbaseballci16 ok haha thanks again :)

  • @jbaseballci16 Nop Problem :)

  • @Sixtiesera

Yeah? Well, my lousy English. Sorry. :)

I don't have the answer. xP

  • The guitar is signed by who?

  • @bituco94 That's his own signature.

  • Very good!

  • tabs i need tabs now for this song

  • Flawless Job Sungha ;)

    Does Anyone Know The Tuning?

  • You are a guitar heroe !!! how old are you ??

    It's very nice

  • @miniraphy He's 14 I think.

  • @miniraphy 9m 2d 1996 year (Birthday)

  • Your are a guitar heroe !!! how old are you ??

  • this is probably the hardest looking song he's done :S

  • @1016Freedom1016

Well, I think you're giving him less credit than you should. Really, it's impossible to have millions, hundreds, or even in tens that can do what sungha does. He can play lives, compose, and arrange in such a young age. And what's awesome is that he plays clearly and almost perfect for his songs. Anyone can learn any songs, but he's able to play it clear and with little mistakes, and that's what make Sungha my inspiration and :) the best :D haha at his age.

    HE'S AWESOME. Done.

  • @bubblyybubby Even the best guitarists have haters, Sungha us AMAZING.. Look at Van Halens Eruption solo. Even he has haters. Mostly n00bs that can't even hit a C string. :D

  • Anderson silva vs sungha jung? I guess you can't put the best of the best against each other.... huh? hahahah JK

  • you're amazing!!!

Sungha the command maybe it's not good typed atleast but I am one of your fans!

  • awesome!

  • at the 52th bar he changed the rythm and the notes. I'd really like to have Sungha's guitar sheet sometimes...

  • sungha is likely the youngest guitarist to get his own signature fretboard :)

  • 27 d*ck heads can't appreciate an artist for what he/she plays... and many more idiots only argue about the skills, instead of just enjoying. Who cares if he is good?... Who cares if he sucks?.. I only care about the fact it is the first time I see someone in a guitar playing that song.. And I enjoyed it.

  • I am glad KBS featured u!

  • Maurice Ravel`s composed his Bolero as crescendo and it is professional suicide even try to perform with narrow dynamic instrument like guitar.

Interpretation of such an excellent, albeit Sungha Jung plays his own compositions significantly expressive.

    Still, thumbs up, of course.

  • He gets it! This young man just plain gets it! Whatever IT is!

  • I love this song & love your guitar sound. ^_^

  • I love this song & love your guitar sound. ^_^

  • I love this song & love your guitar sound. ^_^

  • how does someone like this exist??

  • Simply put and without any exaggeration - ASTOUNDING.

Amazing talent in this young man. He sets the bar at what one might say is an impossible level to surpass - except for his youth and God's benificence which we all hope will allow Sungha Jung himself to continue to excel for many, many more years.

    What a breathtaking performance!

Tommy Emmanuel must feel very proud to have helped inspire such talent and presevering efforts.

  • There are several observers who think Sungha's eyes are closed, they're not closed, his eyes are typically oriental, they appear closed especially when looking down mostly fixed on the the cords. God has given this child a precious gift & fortunately he appears to be humble. I hope he remains unspoiled by people & fame.

  • man, what is he going to be like when he's 25?

  • FUCKING FUCKING FUCKING AMAZING!

  • it is one task to technically play Ravel's Bolero but quite special when it also sounds as if Ravel had written it for Sungha....a very special kind of Artist he is....

  • COME TO ICELAND!

  • It would be nice if sungha plays with Naudo too..

  • Никогда бы не подумала, что Болеро может звучать так на гитаре. Я вообще не поверила бы что это можно играть на гитаре, если бы не наткнулась на это видео.

    <3<3<3

  • SALUDOS DESDE......tijuana baja california mexico..

  • nodame cantabile <3

  • I am one of those kind people that will give you a button to restart the song if you wish. Here it is: 0:00

  • and to think I missed him in concert a few months ago in Boulder Co.

    what a virtuoso

  • I really enjoy this one.

You're growing up kid....not too fast now

  • one word for this lad - GENIUS!

  • definitely good at multi-tasking.

i can barely pat my head and rub my stomach. @ 3 @

  • @geekypnai13 He's got amazing fingers! and iiiiii can barely pat my stomach and rub my head. wait...

  • @geekypnai13 It seems like the thumb is performing a whole different thing but it's actually not that hard, you just need to look at it as part of the solo, you can see he only hits the bass notes along with the solo. I know that because I can play this song, took me like 5 months to barely play it. And he learns in like hours. I'm so jealous of him. He's not only talented, but hard working. Go Sungha!

  • @darrian80

    3 _3

three things at once! he's got his thumb, then his other fingers then the ones at the neck of the guitar. XD i wouldn't be able to do it. lol

  • @geekypnai13 You get to a point where you don't think about your picking fingers...they just do it after you've practiced it. Kinda like walking. You don't think about it, but you had to learn how; it's even incredibly difficult.

  • That bass string is definitely out of tune. No doubt about it..

  • @Mugsy0151 It's supposed to be down tunned for this piece, both lower bass strings are down tunned.

  • @SoundGhost Yes I know it is tuned down. That's not my point. It has been tuned down too far. It's slightly out. It only becomes obvious in the latter part of the piece. That string is 'ou of tune'. When he strikes it hard its obvious to hear

  • i don't understand how there can still be people who thinks he's like a robot when he's showed in sooo many videos his virtuosity in music... you really don't need to be a drama queen to show your inner connection with music (tho I have nothing against ppl who act out their emotions when playing music). btw, lol @JessHelsMe, I thought so too at first, I mean considering he did renditions of Big Bang, I wouldn't be surprised if he does a DBSK one also.

  • Cool! song

  • his using his thumb for the beat and the rest of his fingers for the melody..it's like two people playing the guitar at the same time but with him he's doing it all

  • Shunga= Pure talent.

  • Just incredible !

  • What a concentration and rhytme

  • i slept 3 times listening to this song .-.

  • gosh!!

    I love him..,

His so cute and good-looking and very, very, very talented!!
