    Not in the same cage:)

  • why was the roach white?

  • @B0DawGH thats what they look like right after a fresh molt

  • u prefer these guys over other insects???? my tegus dont like bugs....they just smoosh them and leave em there D:

  • fanny

  • O __ O Where do you get a Tegu?! I don't think you can buy Tegus at your local pet store..

  • Dont drop it use you hands :)

  • Did the roach die ?

  • no, he either went to roach heaven or roach hell.

  • What a wonderful thing to happen to a roach -- of any spot or stripe! (I hold similar feelings toward the mouse, the rat and, of course, the hamster.)

  • Ya know, if this was a mouse you would get bitched at non stop

  • indeed. I dont see why though its part of life

  • Amen.

  • OM NOM NOM ^-^

  • tegus r beast

  • that took a long time...lol

  • makin me hungry

  • woah! this one is pretty much cool-er than a sun lizard. anyway it seems to enjoy it's meal...crispy & crunchy~

  • i want that lizard

  • really this is his first roach he looks like a pro and took it like a champ good job joe, hes lookin good, make an update on these guys, they prob got bigger.

    Jer723 from tegutalk

    jerry

  • My B&W is about the exact same size. What would you recommend his diet be for the duration of his adolecence?

  • do you think it would be good to start feeding roaches to my bearded dragon, hes about 5.5 inches long wothout his tail

  • Yes it will be extremely beneficial. Just use appropriate sized ones for your Bearded.

  • ok thanks

  • @meatloaf505 one or two should be fine

  • u think a white tegu for $150 would be worth it? i saw in a pet store i was gunna get a sulcata tortoise from (and i still am) the owner is rly nice and lets me hold them and i held his female yerold about 2 ft and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool

  • Those are pretty cockroaches..

  • such a cute reptile

  • mmmm crunchy

  • beautiful :D

  • Besides friendleness and size the Tegus seam very similar to alligator lizards including appearence.

  • Which Genus/species are you talking about? There are 3 different Genus that have species with the common name Alligator lizard.

  • I would be refferring to the Southern Alligator Lizard species native to california. Lizards rule. Have you ever kept an Alligator Lizard as a pet?

  • No I have not.

  • When you feed your Lizards crickets have you ever wonderd how all that mass of say 7 or 8 big crickets gets worked down their throat and through there stomache? Especialy if its a smaller lizard like a medium sized Alligator Lizard.

  • i was right. sweet set up , never gotta buy god damn crickets.

  • You should the wings of the insects cause the tegu may choke why do you think it takes a while for the lizard to completely eat the roach!

  • no, no. you're completely wrong XD

the lizard kills the roach. its just a big roach in comparison so takes a bit longer. they gave the lizard a fresh moulted one so its softer. this means it actually takes longer to kill because it doesnt go CRUNCH !

  • zzZZZZzZzzzzz

  • why not just feed it mice just better all around and it prolly taste better

  • Comment removed

  • we it was so cute, when it leave the bug away and bite it again.

  • I want one of those need a license?

  • Check with your local Fish & Game. Some states require a permit.

  • Sick tegu dude! Sweet.

  • POWERFUL STRIKE!!! That was awesome man, thanks!

  • He's so cute

  • I think he likes it

  • no one cares if the roach gets eaten alive...

    haha

    figures.

  • what do you mean ? its just a roach. i have a really old giant hisser and i wouldn't feed her. unless you had a real emotional attachment to a particular cockroach it really doesn't matter. hard to become attached when you have thousands anyway XD

  • lol well i dont care :P

i just thought it was funny because if its anything but a roach you get all these bitches on here crying about how you're some sort of jerk. haha

    feed away!! :D

  • dayum i want one of those

  • Whoops didn't mean to delete your comment. No, they should be actively eating right out of the shell. Something is not right with yours. It is possible it wants to go into hibernation though. If that's the case then it's perfectly normal.

  • wow that roach looked like a ghost

  • it probably came from hell

  • they get dusted with vit's

  • aw..tegu's are so cute :)

  • Damn that must be a tuff roach cause Tegu's teeth are sharp as hell.

  • Dubia's are actually pretty soft bodied. They have a higher meat than shell ratio so they arn't that tough. This was Faden's first roach so I think he just wasn't wuite sure how to handle it.

  • OK still thats a heck of a crunch lol

  • NICE!!

  • Nice video Puff ;)

  • Crunch Crunch and of course... some more crunch.

  • a freshly molted male. mmm tastey.

  • actually it was dusted with some calcium, but the males are white after molt. :)

  • hmmm...that explains the crunchiness. either you dusted that one extremely well or don't dust my well enough. I usually only feed off nymphs though, maybe the calcium doesn't stick as well.

  • Nice Joe! Haha. Faden says "Take that evolution!"
