to me no, here i felt pacman was a bit more funky. he had a grove, this is typically Salah's biggest weakness. Opinion's vary and we all come from the same base, so I guess there could be resemblances in anything.

i must agree with u focal, chbeeb is waaay better popper than muraine based on the fact that his style is actually more popping and funky, muraine is more about double jointed tricks and entertainment, i have yet to see him in a funky popping style like chbeeb and salah

Dancing REAL popping is based on a funk style. Not double jointed tricks.

Salah blows? you're nuts. I just watched your videos. I saw Salah eat 4 street dancers outside Battle of The Best in 05. and he is just a mainstream popper. I've only ever seen two poppers i actually remember from TV. i think you should get some facts str8 real quick. 90% of Jon M Chu's dancers would get ate in a battle away from the "m&m" cru. That's as if he didnt steal talent to make a huge crew. you're entitled to ur opinion, but i disagree in every way someone can.

although pacman is doing good with his moves if u pay attention he really is kinda off beat as far as popping goes ive seen alot of pacman and robert murraine videos both are good but robert is usually better at poppin on beat and if u actually have seen salah he is completely different than robert no question robert may have a similar style but they do different moves its quite clear

That's not entirely accruate. Even Robert himself, says that he is really similiar to Salah however Salah is far cleaner. It was on his youtube page, and there is a video of him at claw's out talking about it.

Secondly, Pacman is more on beat than anyone viewing this video. His musicality is the best thing about him in fact.  I think some of the little shutters you're talking about, that I do notice are from...not being a dictionary of song beats. Alot of dancers have them memorized.

In addition, every dancer makes mistakes. Robert Muraine is a one trick pony, that has been played out overseas for years. As usual america is just NOW grasping this isolation concept mainstream. Let Robert battle, J smooth, Kid Boogie, Bionic Man, Sally Sly, Dijdawi, Peptio, or any other "pro" and see what happens. It's murder. Why? Because they've dealt with a lot better verison of him, for a decade.

those guys are all worldclass. this is proven, because they win the super bowl of popping event robert's failed to even get into numerous times. 2nd if ur wanting to learn popping, make sure you look at it's mechanics and history. it's a funk style. damon frost is a perfect example, atlhough his control is not realistic for anyone to mimic . he is genius. it's a funk style, it comes from the soul. not double jointed biting off of a french g. I can hit alil bit, and I can do basics.

i think he did ok. it' doesn't take much to out do that salah rip off. I guess cause i've seen salah since 04, I'm used to those things, so Robert wasn't all that impressive to me. Pacman is pretty slick, but was judged by people who know nothing about popping.

At the end of the day it's about what you like. I prefer Funky/Not double jointed popping.
