Lake Saranac 2006 - 65 foot jump

Its Is high um if u live there like i do u half to take the lower locks to get up there or drive to a sertain boat launch to get that far but besides that its look scary. Um ive passed it in my dads boat and it looks like if u get a good run u wont hit the Cliff for sure. If u have any question Seend me a message

I jumped off the 65' part while I was on vacation doing a day canoe trip on Lake Saranac. It was a lot of fun! I did bust my ass a little though, my legs were bent so it was like belly flopping on my ass from 65'.

That water is not very deep!

I stayed a site #12 the first week of August 2009 and we saw lots of people lurking at those rocks on Bluff Island, but never did anyone jump.

Looks VERY risky - seems like the rock is on an incline - one poor jump and your ass is scraping down that cliff or landing on it at the bottom.

Oh my god, I have butterflies in my stomach watching this let alone actually doing it, and on july i'm gonna be on Eagle island, one of the neighboring island. I'll let you know if I jump it....I get dizzy going up a ladder, I'll probably pussy out. LOL.

I saw this place in another video - it looked really cool and I wanted to track it down...but from this vid it REALLY looks like you MUST jump REALLY far out to clear the cliff face below you! I can handle the height if I know FOR CERTAIN it's more or less just a straight drop and you won't hit anything!

This cliff is on Saranac lake in the Adirondacks (called bluff Island). It really looks like we are coming close to hitting the rocks at the bottom but I would say for most of these jumps we were 10 feet or more away. The park rangers even went by on their boat and did not stop us. The risk would be slipping at the top and sliding down the rock face. As long as you push off a bit you should be fine.......

Wear shoes - even with those on my feet still stung.
