Wrong, the first 1000lb bench was in '04. So these guys really dont have a clue about maths or pressing lol

And it was done using a 3 ply bench press shirt, wrist wraps, and spotters. Take that same lifter, take the shirt away, the wraps and spotters, and he'd only get 650-700lbs max, still monstrous strength regardless.

@ironmikexx lol i dont see how the wrist wraps and spotters technically allow you to lift more weight, they are there for safety, you could argue that they give a lifter the confidence to lift more but in reality they dont help physically in the lift, the 3 ply bench press shirt will help dramatically but i still believe there are men out there who if chose to bench raw could probably bench 800 lb.

I have never, ever seen anything like that man who lifted that 1200 lbs rock off of him. Absolutely unbelievable and it's so unreal, that there won't be another person like him. It's absolutely impossible for a human to do that. I believe he is superhuman on that matter and glad he is alive today.
