  • but im 15 and i love shit like this such as the pharcyde atcq j dilla mos def and binary star!

  • This is an orgasm for my ears!

  • Where can I download this?

  • Man, I really actually like how Pismo raps. It's so flow-easy and just sounds great. I can't stand much of the other people (Melodee, can't stand that bitch.) that try to rap over tracks like these (Nomak, Nujabes, Uyama Hiroto)

  • that remind me a lot nujabes RIP we can see Nomak is from nujabes label he is great

  • 6 dislikes! those people need to get their ears checked and re-tuned and learn what real ''hip-hop'' is.

  • 420

  • real hip hop is so beautiful, makes me sad most people have such a slim idea of what hip truly is. omg this song is perfect

  • @canipee Try explaining that to the silly little teenage kids TODAY, all that stupid lil wayne shit is just......hmmph

  • ok i can add another to the list...Nujabes: check, Flying Lotus: check, J-Dilla: check, Nomak: check...anything else?

Tsutchie, Fat Jon, Blazo, Kondor... and maybe Ayur

  • @DIONICIO0808 DJ Okawari ;)

  • @DIONICIO0808 Emancipator: Check

  • from cali to peru this is how we do/stay true to the crew and aya brew

  • "flex a muscle do the hustle" he killed it with that

  • i think im hearing counting stars or shino's theme remixed for this. yea

  • Pismo flows so well on this beat. He goes with it instead of fighting it like so many bad rappers do these days.

  • So relaxing, beats and poetry like this clear my head and always uplift. Nothing like the contrast of a tasteful piano tune with amazing verses.

    Amazing.

  • this is tha sheet

  • Im so glad I woke up today..

  • he reminds me of nujabes......

  • young people need 2 listen 2 this.....they might wake up and c what real hip-hop sound like...4 real though

  • yea we remixing this right now!

  • Does anyone know where I can find an instrumental of this?

  • This song is uhhhmazing, i have goosebumps. Ahhh hip hop I Love You <3 <3

  • @whatifeelnow501 nujabes, pismo, nomak, shin ski, shinsight trio, shing 02, substantial, and Kenichiro Nishihara. hope that helps

  • @Damien1456 add substantial and cisse starr to that list

  • Ayo, call out for the hip hop heads. I've been listening to a lot of Celph Titled and Az lately but I really like this dudes style. Any other mc's out there who's got this smooth flow with ill lyircs? If so, call em out please.

  • I just happened upon this song while I was drinking and youtubing. Shit, I love this. I had no idea they still made hip hop like this. I gave up like a decade ago. Someone out there apparently still has love for this art. Favoriting this one.

  • "Energy that purges through my meditation , spiritual alliance feeling liberation !"

    love that line

  • 'mainstream' hiphop is already dead as hell this shit keeps hiphop alive

  • reminds me of one of the best show ever: Samurai Champloo.

    Look it up. ;D

  • thumbs up for music that doesnt need weed to make it sound good.

  • 6 dislikes came from ppl wiping the jizz off their mic's. this song is raw.

  • seriously, are those 6 dislikers justin bieber fans?

  • @Asuna1218

    LOL

    really doubt it hahah

  • @Angelbay14 that's why this is called underground... It's a good thing that not too many people know about it. Because then it'd be ripped from and turned into mainstream.

  • @JapanesePopcorn I think it already has been ripped..

Drake's song, Paris Morton, starts off so melodically...it is similar to Nujabes, God rest his soul. But then after melody it gets real mainstream and then back again :/

  • Thank you to the people who thumbs downed this, mainly because if music like this becomes mainstream, It will be like all of the nonsensical pop in the world today. Be glad this is underground, and try to keep it underground.

  • beat sounds alot like "A Day by Atmosphere Supreme" - Nujabes

    love it.

  • Rapper= Lyrics that're mostly illegal

MC= Lyrics that'll uplift the people

    KRS

  • 1:50 - 1: 55 = heaven.

  • 3:26 - 3:52 freaking epic beat should be an own one for another song *.*

  • I can't even fucking handle how good this song is!

  • i understand that everyone hates mainstream music

but can you hold the hate for 3 minutes and 52 seconds

and just enjoy the music. this is a really good song

    thanks

  • @TheAYYSUN I don't hate mainstream, nor do i hate what i'm listening to right now.

  • @TheAYYSUN 'nough said

  • real complex ...

  • i can listen to this all day

  • @MasterDusk I agree with you this is beautiful!

  • This is amazing. Just one song can inspire and transform life. That's the spirit of hip hop and I dearly appreciate this song.

  • これはやばい^^^^^

    Jazzyめっちゃ好き

    もっと聴きたい

  • Corporate pricks=earns so much money by controlling musicians

driven by money-musicians/ =earns alot money by getting their ass manipulated

devoted-musicians= earns alot of respect because they doesn't care how much they earns as long as people give them a warm happy smile, words of appreciations, and a few quarters in their guitar cases is enough for them to travel around and eat

  • Underground hip hop as it is known,

    shame, really.

Why, why is it that the good is always

    marginalized?

  • Soothing and prolific. I shed a few tears over how this beautiful masterpiece sounds. Thank you, God.

  • Perfect example of what Hip-Hop SHOULD be.

  • i am the creator of the "HipHopApostles" group on facebook and would like to share the real hip hop with the people who give respect to it

  • Go mainstream and give them what they want, or go underground and give them what they need.

  • @RobDaFob well said

  • word this shit is ill

  • did he say "mushrooms die but the high will never lie" i don't get high but i found that very deep and cool. great music!

  • they shuld remove the term hip hop from mainstream it shuld be called club pop or some shit lol

  • Real hip hop needs to be played on the radio!

  • @jtlorussell3

    nahh..

jst let them listen to those

    shitty music.... they're not

worthy to listen to these kind

    music....

    they have to OPEN their

eyes 1st...b4 they can listen to

    heavenly songs a.k.a. UNDERGROUND HIP-HOP....

which is the REAL HIP-HOP!! like you said...

  • wow just discovered nomak and damn this is a NICE beat.

  • i remember when this song had only 20-30k views... im really glad that so many ppl got to hear this good music

  • the intro is a nujabes' song but in backwards... im totally sure.

  • I'm loving this song. If a new season of samurai shamploo came out they have to put it on the sound track.

The song has a great feel. This made my night thank you.

  • NEW Nomak track from his new album, called Soarer on my channel

  • pismo could've rapped in japanese....sounds better.

  • The epitome of beauty.

  • beautiful :] like my girlfriend :]

  • haha this is like Nujabes the second. .

  • respect chazi cuz.

  • Actually Japanese hip hop...very good thou

  • great flow...pismo a pretty dope mc

  • AMAZING!!!

  • This is one of those where you want people to love it but also want it to stay underground because it's so dope.

  • This is easily one of the greatest songs I have ever heard. The beat, the lyrics flow together perfectly.

Also I love reading the comments for these videos; its just pure love for the music. Much better than the more popular videos.

  • nomak?? and....pismo?? oh my god...I think i'm in heaven!

  • Hey I just subscribed to Bob42jh

    2 minutes ago :D

  • i like how this video is 3 years old and its better then most songs on the radio.

  • Can someone pleeeeease tell me where to find these pictures, or are they apart of their album covers? Please I wanna know because I think they are so captivating. x3

  • @dearangel111 Its the cover of Nomak's album called "Combine"

  • Very nice. Very reminiscent of Nujabes, which is DEFINITELY a good thing.

  • It is indeed. Absolutely love this!

  • Everyone keeps talking about Nomak but let's give the MC some props! Pismo absolutely carries this song with his positive flow and message. He's worked with a lot of Japanese producers and always stands out above the rest on every album. That guy is highly underrated....and he sings!

  • I'v had this on loop for the last 45 min and i'm still not sick of it.

  • I play guitar so i listen to more rock and metal. A lot of my friends at school say hip hop sucks and stuff, but then my cousin showed me a group called Blue Scholars. Eventually, that led me to Common MArket and now I've found this. It really is amazing and defies a lot of the stereotypes of hip hop/rap. Thank God i didnt listen to my friends!

  • Same here, vise versa though. Good for you though. I listen to Slipknot, Mudvayne, and Devil Driver now. Thank goodness I didn't listen to my friends either

  • @AgariRG

all you have to do is brake thru all the chains and stupid dancing.

  • Hip-hop doesn't suck. Pop rap (that mainstream shit) sucks. But there are great rappers blue scholars is really good I like Evening Chai by them alot same with Invocation, but there is also B.o.B, CYNE, Shing02, J Cole, XV. Of course not all of these will be up your alley but hopefully you will find others you like. Word up.

  • for all Nomak, Nujabes fans make sure you check out:

    Kuroisoul, Blazo, Kondor, DJ Okawari...etc

  • @Bob42jh Blazo is cool I'll for sure check out the other ones thanks

  • @spike0097

No problem man! I know its hard for some people to find out about these types of artists cos one thing for certain is you wont be hearing none of this on the radio!!

  • @Bob42jh

Too right man and for the most part cats these days just want fat beats and hard synths with some stupid raps about nothing.

No one wants these smooth thought out jams. Its should almost have another genre contextualization.

  • Don't stop at "etc" tell me more.

  • For people lookign for similar music to nujabes check out

Blazo, DJ Okawari, DJ Cam Quartet, Kuroisoul, DJ Whitesmith, Nomak, Ayur, Kenmochi Hidefumi, Pe2ny, Cold Legistics, Michita, Azzurro, INF, Galagen, Valentine.... or just subscribe to my channel for alll of these + more haha

  • @Bob42jh haha. just read this but had subscribed to you about 2 hours earlier. nice one.

  • lol

    Thanks - appreciated

Im sure ull find lots of music you'll like

  • im happy i wasn't sucked into mainstream hip hop

well i was wondering one day why the music i hear on the radio sounded like shit so i did my research and found this

    to good reall hip hop

  • Just Beautiful. I love this shit right here! Too bad I'm probably the only 16 year old in my school who doesn't listen to lil wayne and soulja boy shit.

  • @MyFoodIsBad

Too bad you are conceited and pretentious so no one every will want to listen to the music you like.

  • Conceited how? All I meant to say was that too many people at my school listen to crappy music and more people should know about this guy.

  • I'm in the same position. The only person who isn't blowing "Weezy" everytime my Ipod turns on.

  • Real music, real Hip-Hop.

  • Having

    inner

    Peace,

    Having

    outer

    peace

This is a great Expression of it and you gotta love it :P

  • @Black1625 i'm really amused by stuff like this so your comment made my day :[ the H-I-P H-O-P thing :[ <3

  • the reason why underground has more depth and centric taste cause mainstream main point is to make money. You see bunch of music hitting off with familiar beats and topics from theirs lyrics.. and the candy eyes.

  • Thats what I tell my friends every day.

  • THIS is hip hop. the stuff that plays on the radio is nonsense pop music.

  • @fusionelements You said it fusion!

  • @fusionelements true,true :)

  • @fusionelements It's like Lupe Fiasco said. The hip-hop on the radio is actually hip-hop whether we choose to accept it or not. Kind of like the mentally challenged cousin in your family, sometimes you don't want to accept him, but he's family after all.

  • @KoriAlex i don't see it like that. there is no way that lil waynes lollipop or usher's oh my god, or black eye peas i got a feeling could be categorized as hip hop. to me it just sounds like bad and lazy trance music. but hey.

  • @fusionelements don't get me wrong, I don't view it as music either. To me, they're nothing but noise. The music on the radio, it's all scientifically produced to be catchy. There's no passion in them, no true art. It's all fake. I listen to the art of music, which only will blossom through passion, and you can always feel this passion when it is present. It's fake hip hop, scientific garbage. The true passion of hip hop is what soars to great heights.

  • Underground Hip-Hop:

Intelligent, Witty, Real Disc Jockeys, can be soothing, can be calming, can get a view point across, just plain out easy to listen too.

    Mainstream Hip-Hop:

Controlled by corporations, Money Whores, Fantasy Lifestyle influence, the music is just horrible and degrading of self.

  • i love reading comments like this, you are spot on. Hip-hop isnt about being some fake ass "gangstar thug" its about the music and the stories that the music tells

  • Can't agree more :)

  • @CustomBumpMaker

If I could thumbs up you a million times, I would.

  • @CustomBumpMaker OH MY GOD! YOU JUST SUMMED UP THE 21ST CENTURY MUSIC INDUSTRY! I'M GLAD SOMEONE ISN'T IGNORANT.

There is no True Hip-Hop anymore, honestly. The Hip-Hop that is forced into our ears consists of simple words, beats, messages...everything. No complexity in their rhymes! It has molded to the point that individuals are shunned when not listening to this garbage...Anger corrupts their minds because they haven't found this underground beauty!

  • Real Talk :)

  • @CustomBumpMaker There is no such thing as mainstream hip-hop what you're thinking of is rap.

  • @CustomBumpMaker truth! but real talk...mainstream" hip hop" is a oxymoron hip hop will never be mainstream true hip hop will always be and as been underground

  • Man thisis hip-hop...I may be 15...born into the Wayne era...but this out beats any of Waynes music. This music talks abou life and not gettin some..and drinkin..and doin drugs

  • This must be the only hiphop music that I could listen to for hours...it's so soothing and calming...

And not about tapping that ass.

  • "Underground Hip-Hop Forever my friends nothing better than underground Hip-Hop"

  • this is hip-hop!!!!

  • the rhythm and flow of a true artist.

  • The artwork is absoulutley beautiful... And great music to match, i feel sorry for people that miss out on great music like this for overhyped hip-hop.

  • @EagleZtoTheGrave I'm actually much happier that people miss out on this great music, or else it would become mainstream overplayed crap. If true listeners wanted something true to listen to, then they would find these artists on their own.

  • Good point... I didn't really think about that aspect, the best things are worth looking for. If you wanted to hear something of better quality, you'd go find it.

  • This is awsome man it's so smooth and beautiful man. easy riding music.

  • ....heaven..
