There are many interpretations of what hell is in the Bible, and the one that is known to most people is wrong. Hell is simply eternal separation from God and his presence is just completely gone. They live eternally in pain because of their regret, knowing they they have rejected the Lord.
The flames that are described should be seen as a metaphor that describes a pain as close to the pain of the regret, and not taken literally. The punishment is not burning, but the separation itself.

respectfully..be quiet. this morning was informed a friend of mine, Yvonne passed away after fighting cancer and pneomia.....2 weeks ago she was recovering nicely, then it went badly. I am sure here family prayed for her, she was one of the best people I have known, and did prayer help??? It's up to you whether to believe or not. Death is something very hard to grasp. People die. I will die, you will die. I have faith and hope (meaning i do not know for certain) that there is something more than our physical remains being eaten by worms.
God does answer prayer, but sometimes the answer is no. And we don't like that and shut God out. I had a close friend die of breast cancer last year, and she was standing frail in church worshipping 2 weeks before she passed away. She prayed for her healing, but she also had great faith that God had a plan for her life alive or not. It hurts to lose a friend, I know. But Prayer is about a relationship, not a magic wand. That's why Jesus's prayer was "your will be done....."
Don't you see what you're doing here: prayer always works, even when it doesn't; that's what you're saying. If a prayer is "answered", it's a "miracle" and when it's not, the believer thinks of excuses: it wasn't in God's plan, the answer was no, it wasn't God's will. Just start accepting the fact that prayer won't change the world around you.. or do you think God's going to change "his plan for you" just because you prayed?
The purpose of prayer is not to change God's plan nor to change the world around you. If that was true, then you are right, the world will prob. be in better shape. However, prayer is meant to TRANSFORM the mind and CONFORM the will of the prayerful to the Lord's. That is what prayer is for.

How and why did everything begin (question) If I said ill see you in an infinate amount of time would I ever see you? no! Has there been an infinate amount of time before now? If yes how did we finaly get here? if no how did time space and matter begin? The mathamatical conclusion is that there needs to be something beyond the natural realm that is beyond time/space/matter and can be the cause of time/space/matter. Hence the question answered Is Jesus (God)

you dont burn to ashes, where are you getting that from in the bible, Hell is an ETERNAL death but where you never die because it is a seperation from God and yet God is there as you are recieving his just punishment for your sins but we have the eternal life through Christ jesus our saviour

There are many interpretations of what hell is in the Bible, and the one that is known to most people is wrong. Hell is simply eternal separation from God and his presence is just completely gone. They live eternally in pain because of their regret, knowing they they have rejected the Lord.
The flames that are described should be seen as a metaphor that describes a pain as close to the pain of the regret, and not taken literally. The punishment is not burning, but the separation itself.

well first lets set the tone..no hard feelings...ok its cool. and i do agree that it is most painfully separation from God, of course, its a spiritual death..yep from God's love absolutely and thats the pain..but it is still a physical suffering as well..like the example of sparing the rod..but more so of course..think about it hell was made for the devil and his angels primarily not for mankind theyre already separated from Love..and be careful about being soo educated you have to proclaim it.

I'm not saying I'm educated, I'm just saying that most people that are educated within this area say this. And within this theory, there is also references within the Scripture that say that there are many different levels of punishment within hell. And as I said, you're interpretation is your own, I won't try to change it if it really is what you believe, as it is never stated directly within the Scriptures that it is not what you have said it is.

this song is garbage as is. as for RESTINPEACE, so believeing in people , as I do, I should go kill myself..how does that make any sense?? as for prayer, is just hope and wishes, nobody there to answer since the bible and all is nothing more than a FICTION that many subscribe to, and the church reinforces. BTW, there is no God's plan, there are only the choices you make.

respectfully..be quiet. this morning was informed a friend of mine, Yvonne passed away after fighting cancer and pneomia.....2 weeks ago she was recovering nicely, then it went badly. I am sure here family prayed for her, she was one of the best people I have known, and did prayer help??? Not one bit, if anything re-inforces to me there is no god, and that its all a fiction her untimely death would be it.

It's up to you whether to believe or not. Death is something very hard to grasp. People die. I will die, you will die. I have faith and hope (meaning i do not know for certain) that there is something more than our physical remains being eaten by worms.

God does answer prayer, but sometimes the answer is no. And we don't like that and shut God out. I had a close friend die of breast cancer last year, and she was standing frail in church worshipping 2 weeks before she passed away. She prayed for her healing, but she also had great faith that God had a plan for her life alive or not. It hurts to lose a friend, I know. But Prayer is about a relationship, not a magic wand. That's why Jesus's prayer was "your will be done....."

Don't you see what you're doing here: prayer always works, even when it doesn't; that's what you're saying. If a prayer is "answered", it's a "miracle" and when it's not, the believer thinks of excuses: it wasn't in God's plan, the answer was no, it wasn't God's will. Just start accepting the fact that prayer won't change the world around you.. or do you think God's going to change "his plan for you" just because you prayed?

The purpose of prayer is not to change God's plan nor to change the world around you. If that was true, then you are right, the world will prob. be in better shape. However, prayer is meant to TRANSFORM the mind and CONFORM the will of the prayerful to the Lord's. That is what prayer is for.
