The first video I saw of yours was a really stupid, and I mean REALLY stupid rant about Ron Paul. People keep sending me your videos and who knows maybe I will subscribe someday.
Strangely, I'm also having a Dr. Paul conversation on an other unrelated video. I take it you support him.
This is the first time that "stupid" has ever entered the conversation. In fact this may be the first time someone has ever directed that epitaph towards me. Misinformed, crazy, devious, obnoxious, yes, but stupid? Nope. Now, I can appreciate that we might differ on the Doc, but I stand by the info I use to make my decisions & videos.
It was such a long time ago that all I can say is that at the time I thought it was stupid. By stupid I mean you did not manage to make any particular point to prove you had bothered to find out if you actually knew what the fuck you were talking about before you made that video. Maybe it was an off day for you.
So, doing something I dislike doing, I went back & viewed the video. First it was, as most of mine are, an opinion piece. When R.P. threw his hat in the ring, I went & read all I could of his legislative actions. Being a fellow Texan & remembering his 1st run @ the Presidency as an Independent & liking him then, not enough to vote for him, I had to learn what he'd been up to since. I wasn't impressed. He had become a Republican. Old school maybe, but still not my cup of tea.
I am not willing to go back through all your videos and find the one that gave me a bad impression of you and try to recreate my thoughts about why it gave me a bad impression of you. Lots of people send me your videos and maybe I will get over it and subscribe.
The strength of your statement had me feeling that you'd just watched it.
As for subscribing, I never solicit subscribers. The closest I ever came to that was when I asked a person to view one in particular. She did, then subscribed, but it was to answer her question. My first year here I had 3 subscribers, the 2nd 11 months in. Not why I'm here.
Before I link one of my videos, I always ask permission & ask that they view it first. AntiTerrorist said yes & then subbed.
I guess I am being rude. I am frustrated right now by people who I thought were my friends but who have decided that I am a traitor because I won't vote for Obama.
With friends like that...A vote for Obama is a vote for the status quo. D & R are two wings of the same party. Corporate controlled puppets & NWO fanatics. 3rd party is the only sane way to vote. Paper ballots the only smart way to vote.
Thank you for the input. Jadewindsong got it right. The bird's behavior clicked with the name. She stays close to the pond & does a neat sweep down scooping up insects right above the water & even hitting the water (minnows?) @ times. Once I had a name, Google showed me photos that confirmed jade's info.
As bush readies himself to leave office he just did to us what he did to the companies he ran before becoming president remember the two companies that he ran into the ground? we all have guns but are WE ready to do what our founding fathers intended for us to do when the gov. stops working for US? 75% of americans are sick and tired of our gov. does the other 25% need to "WAKE UP"? before we all do something? If you havent watched HBO's mini series John Adams PLEASE check it out ITS INSPIRING
The body, sans head, wings, & tail is about 6 or 7 inches.
I don't see money as the problem as much as profit. Money is just a token we agree to exchange in trades to be exchanged again in future trades. Simply a middleman. The concept of acquiring & hoarding middlemen is what I can't figure, because all it takes to make them worthless is,"Sorry, I don't take those in trade."
That bird is a female Belted Kingfisher. Birds are awesome aren't they??? I love to see them and listen to them while I am out enjoying nature. Love you brother, Peace.
I agree, people should vote. People should try to change their situation if they feel it needs to be changed. I'm not good with identifying birds, but it looks like a cross between a woodpecker and a bluejay. I've never seen a bird like that one.
A lot easier to dis the situation than to work to change it.
Focusing only at the top misses the point. Start @ the bottom in your precinct. Help there as needed. There is where power to change begins. Take back congress & the puppet is powerless.
Dan, they only have one play: Incite fear & follow up with force. If we don't react with fear, they won't use force on a large scale. We out number them & even have members within their ranks. Think positive, bro. ;^) We will win.
GOOD advice. a police chief, in Indiana, made a statement that he was NOT going to use the police force to evict people, anymore...SCORE one for the People.
What I get for ass-u-me-ing. Didn't think about Dave, because I heard someone say that Dave's not here. Or was that a Cheech & Chong flashback? Having had the pleasure of being asked to make use of the paper from their Zig-Zag album 3 times, I'm prone to weird tangents (as good excuse as any!)
That cop, my Sheriff, it's @ the local level that we can effect change. Changing community through communication w/education, example, & encouragement.
ReneNort, I started writing poetry in High School to impress the girls. It worked, so I kept it up! Now, it helps me to keep it tight & on message. Normal conversation I take every tangent I think of!
I would vote if I believed it counted!! But we all know it's a scam!! And really it doesn't matter who wins they will do as theyr'e told by the powers that be
Don't fear those little men behind the curtain. If every citizen who could vote did & voted informed R's & D's would be minor parties. Volunteer to work @ the poles. Read strategies @ link 2 votepact. Never doubt what a small group of dedicated individuals can accomplish. Texas is turning progressive due to hard work & not believing in being defeated. Don't whine, do.

Heard someone yesterday define poetry as words in action. Can only hope I inspire action. "I'm picking up good vibrations..."

how big is de bird? if its too small to be a female Belted Kingfisher, i'd say its a hybrid.
i wish it wasn't so hard for folks to envision a world w/out money. its a pretty good picture, in my eyes.

She took a sweeping dive down to the surface of the pond, so I believe we have a winner! Her calls get answered but I've yet to see the other.

If the 60% of the people who don't vote voted 3rd party. We would change the world.

there are so many quotes...ya know
"no matter who you vote for, you're voting for us"
and
"its not who votes, but who counts the votes"
i tried, in 2000. i thought Nader would win, too. negative vote counts on deibold machines is proof, positive, to me. too many people worship TV.
what kind of f*cking "debate" has only 2 of the 6 candidates?
