  • okay thanks :)

  • each IR reciever controls 1 seperate motor at a time or can it control all 4... like say if i had 4 motors would I need 4 IR recievers to control all 4 of them at the same time?

  • The power functions enable you to run two motors off one receiver. I'm going to be trying out soon if I can run anymore off of one reciever...

  • i'm building a tank with 2 power functions motors. one motor for each tread. will i be able to operate both motors at the same time, as well as separately from one remote + receiver?

  • Yes - one receiver+remote controls two motors at a time.

  • u should check out the tank i built for some ideas... just check under my name

  • oops, logged under gf account. search slickpick555

  • haha I was just going through some videos and I came across this comment... Kinda funny we didn't even know each other :P

  • woo!

Though I failed to test it, I think you can stack motor connectors into the receiver block meaning (abiding to lego PF rules) you could have up to four M motors all running off ONE side of the receiver!

    Have you tried this?

  • yeah I tried I dont have 4 m motors but I tried putting 2 m motors and 2 xl motors on and it works.

  • mate are u saying 2 xls and one m on one side of the reciever? i thought that would overload it

  • nope. Still works, although I do it rarely since its over the limit for the 1 battery pack and it'll drain power much faster and the motors wont be as strong sooo.... done it once not trying it again.
