Ok I have a cash Account on E-trade and just getting into the trading penny stock or (OTC) stock. but anyways they told me as long as you have a cash Account only that you dont fall under the 25k law. That law is for a margin account only. as long as it's just a CASH ACCOUNT ONLY you can trade any stock as much as you want. there is a rule with cash something like you can only use 1k a day for stocks and 5k a day for options. but dont take my word for it call your broker and find out.

the catch with a cash only account is you got to wait 3 days from the day you entered a stock before you get that money back to put in something else.
