Absolutely. His mother tongue was German. I assume this is a recording of a performance before a German audience. He appeared frequently in Germany, before Jewish and Christian audiences, and on a number of occasions I had the privilege of accompanying him with my guitar. He performed before anybody who would appreciate, or craved for, his message. On one occasion we even performed in the then tiny East Berlin Jewish community, almost undercover, 20 years before the wall came down.

This is especially repugnant as Shlomo is no longer with us and cannot defend his reputation from such claims.
