Generation Y is being referred to as both the new Silent Generation and the new Greatest Generation. Hopefully a bit of both.

That's the stereotype that every generation gets when they're in the youth (20s - teens) stage of life. It's the stage of life, not the generation, IMO.

Yes it was, and also, Generation X black people were more black conscious than Generation Y black people.
