Nice selection of games. I had a CPC464 in the 1980s with a colour TV modulator...thank god I had this because the colour monitor made everything look disgusting! Blocky, chunky puke inducing coloured graphics that were hugely embarrassing and horrible. However on my 14" Panasonic colour TV via the modulator, everything was smooth edged, not blobby or chunky with attractive blended colours and were possibly the best 8 bit graphics going, but only on a TV.
I enjoyed all of your Amstrad CPC videos, particularly the Fighting and Racing ones because the soundtrack was very fitting to the theme.
The music for this one, however, is very generic... I'd suggest something like the Top Gun theme or something similar that clearly reminds of us of both the eighties as well as air shooting.
@Madskull2 - Hi, did you ever find out the name of the game at 06:35? Ive been going nuts trying to find it, its been 20 years since I've played it and it was stolen off me in the 80's never got it back
What is the game at the 5:00 minute mark?

It's amazing the range in quality of the graphics between the early and later games, given that it was basically just one machine spec.
And in contrast, the complete lack of variety in gameplay (not that things are any better these days).

The Amstrad was certainly not as bad as some people like to make out
I love the warmth of atmosphere from Amstrad colours
It's no C64 regards to how it could move arcade style sprites etc but it was perfectly nice enough to own
