  • Some very important tips I can give from experience:

    1) ALWAYS BUY A HARD CASE - bed bugs are at plague proportions in the USA and Canada. Asia is pretty bad also. You don't want bed bugs laying eggs in the fabric outer part of your bag and taking them home. They can cost thousands of dollars to get rid of!!

    2) ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BAGS FOR ANY DAMAGE BEFORE LEAVING THE AIRPORT - If you find any damage go straight to the airline and make a claim as they are liable to pay for repair or replacement!!

  • @ITSFISHIMITSUBISHI Very good tips. Thank you!

  • Excellent advice. I, too, traveled for a number of years, and your advice on durability and design are right on target. You're right when you say all bags are eventually broken by the baggage handlers. Don't go with names and warranties. Buy something decent, on sale, and replace it when its destroyed.

My personal comment? Don't buy black luggage. Everyone has black, so it's harder to spot on the carousel, and black luggage get really hot when left on the tarmac by the handlers. Things melt.

  • @LooieVanHelsing Thank you for viewing my video and for your comments. You made a good point about black luggage.
