not the absolute best flyer.....but you were ok....its to bad you crashed it.....at least you didn't tip-stall it it normaly does the most damage...it rip so much stuff off
It really looks as if you have a major center of gravity issue. Your plane seems to want to sit back on its tail while flying. Try transposing the CG from the cabane to the lower wing, then adjust the CG with the plane upside down. Remember that the nose should tip downward somewhat when the plane is balanced.
Looks like your Ultimate is a bit tail heavy and underpowered.
I have the CG Ultimate originally put a SuperTigre 61 in it - it seemed sluggish. Then I put in an OS 91 FX with a 14x6 prop. It is much better but still lacks some power for vertical command. I think a 4-stoke 91 Surpass would be nice. No need to overpower the thing, bibes aren't meant to fly really fast).
I putted a OS .61 two stroke in it , after I tried a OS Surpass .61 with no success. It is now a beast and climb verticaly with no prob. Take off in 10ft and it IS fast now ;)
lol i was going to say the same thing about it being tail heavy! then i read your comment!
i have an E-Flite Ultimate 20-300 biplane with the POWER-10 brushless setup and it performs AWESOME!! my new favorite plane! plus the kit is VERY well built and very sturdy. i was suprised to see such quality in an ARF
My last setup is a O.S. Max .61 with pump and it is just nice. This plane is very heavy tought , the proof is that there were not much damage on this crash , just the landing gear.
Very repairable. Don't play on ash fault or concrete, it's not worth it. Stalling is a beotch, it happens but hey, if you didn't try it would not be fun right?
dont feel bad thoose 40 to 60 size planes feel like bricks after moving up to giant scale, plus its real easy to get over confident with a very manuverable plan...check my sim vids
U need a lot of power in this kind of Biplane 'cause it's heavy and symetrical airfoil. Try 0.S.55AX or .80 4 stroke, at least. I have a .52 4 stroke it it and it is not fun to fly.
2:50 Caliss LOL

That's not a 3d plane, trying to fly that plane below the stall speed is a recipe for disaster.

Ive seen worse repaired.
Btw, Id like my next plane to be a bipe.
The box was a little blurry, but that looks like a Great Planes bipe.
Would you say its a good model,or which would be a great bipe in .40 or .60 size?

That's what happens when you stall close to the ground, it comes down.
Also that has to be the worst place for flying I have ever seen!
Nice build job though.
