I like the styles alot but do you go to college? or have a job that may prevent you from doing your hair every time it needs to get done? I don't mean to offend you but now it's summer and in the fall, i will be taking a number of credits that can prevent me from doing my hair weekly (as I normally do). What do you suggest I do? Thanks in advance.

@blaztermaniac75 Thanks! I have learned how to make my hair last longer than a week. If its all twisted up, I keep it tied up when Im not out and about, and when the twists start to look bad, I take them out and wear a twistout for a week or two.

@blaztermaniac75 Once the twistout starts to look bad, I pull it up into a puff ponytail because usually the ends of my hair still look like a twistout, I can get away with that for a week. To keep it moisturized all these weeks, I have a spray bottle filled with oil, water, and essential oil

nice, i'm still trying to find my natural hairstyle. I don't know how well some of my styles do on me b/c my hair is so short but you have such a cute face you can pull off short styles very nicely (w/o earrings and tons of makeup)

@baaybgyrl wow, I wrote that a year ago! And y'know my hair has grown considerably. I ended up going with single-strand twists and that works pretty well. I love how I don't have to do my hair everyday, just spray w/water and a bit of coconut oil and I'm off. But I am NOW to the point where I'm getting pretty sick of the same style and so I end up on YouTube once more :). I might do your flat twists.. sorry I don't have photos online.

Great video. I've been natural for about 4 years. Usually I wear wigs (because of job environment), but I'm getting older and I just cannot do another summer of wigs. I just started doing my own hair extensions (thanks to YouTube) about a year and a half ago. When I found out I was having a daughter I figured I better get a jump on learning about hair and hair care.

I would just love for my natural hair to look half as good as yours (and others) I have seen on this channel.

I use natural black soap for washing my hair. i use shea butter, 100% aloe vera (not the gel, but the 100% pure stuff) mango oil, mango butter, coconut oil, olive butter, and more. I mainly get my products from africa imports online, and i have a list of all the natural products I frequently use listed on my hubpage along with how I use them, if youre interested.
