you forgot to say how long it takes to boot up

mine friends takes like 2 mins in the morning and before he can use his voice commands it take like 30 mins our how ever big the ipod is because it has to read through that

but it a really cool deck besides the load time and voice garbage

This unit boots in 30 seconds flat with BT connection. If your friends unit takes 2 minutes it has a problem. Also, iPod cataloging can be turned off and it is not necessary to catalog every time the unit boots. Only when new content is put on the iPod.
