  • That shot at 4:23 look like the exact tracking shot in full metal jacket, when joker's squad first enters hue city.

  • fuck you 240p, but still great footage

  • vietnam war is perfect for this song, a war were there were no 'good guys'

  • @aussiedutchukrainian dude are there any good guys in war today? nah both sides are still brainwashed into thinking the enemy is fuckin scum and whatever they do is justified for the cause. sure IEDs are cowardly, but so is carpet bombs and shelling villages no question asked.

  • @leathery420 too bad we dont carpet bomb or shell villages anymore. welcome to modern warfare, get out of the sixties dude.

  • @all4pivot lol dude they drop JDAMs which are pretty large on targets. They shell places that insurgent may be indiscriminately because fuck in might hurt a innocent person who has not part with the insurgent but better one of them then my friend I fight with right? They also bait people with parts and materials that could be used to make IEDs and other weapons and shoot them if they try to touch it, again indiscriminately. War is as just as dirty as ever been.

  • @leathery420 thats such bullshit dude, watch some documentaryies, and read some books. Talk to soldiers and talk to veterans. Your wrong, it takes ages to get clearance for any sort of heavy bombing, and they do an excellent job of hitting only their target. We have so much protection for the enemy its ridiculously too much. Killing innocents is rare, but that happens in every war for both sides. Get your fucking facts straight, because you've gone and smoked yourself retarded.

  • @all4pivot documentaries

  • @jvdwolf Guerrilla warfare. Our (U.S.) troops were fighting an enemy we had no idea how to beat or find. The Vietnam War was exactly like the American Revolution, except the roles switched, America was like the British (ironically) and the NVA / Viet Cong were the Colonials.

  • 01:41 Is he using the M1A1 Thompson? isnt that a WW2 gun (just asking, dont want to be a weapons nerd, just asking ^^)

  • @NLchrisSHOOTER no its a vietnamese type -- weapon. He prolly picked it up because he fancied it more than his m1 for urban combat.

  • A Vampire Confesses . com ">=E""

  • I think war is a terrible thing.....

  • nice video!

  • oh this song is from black ops!! i fucking hate ppl likt that!!!!!!! screw black ops!!!!!!

  • lol pol

  • yeh but half of these boys didnt want to go they where drafted it was vietnam or jail

  • This Reminds me of Ben Stiller's movie Tropic Thunder!!

  • Who the hell thinks they are good enough to dislike this video? Respect the Vets

  • holy fuck, U.S got stuck , ass got kick out of Vietnam

  • IF THESE NOBLE WARRIORS KNEW THEN, WHAT THEY KNOW NOW, THEY WOULD TURN ON OUR OWN GOVT.

}8 ? )....AS THEY SHOULD, AND WILL, NOW !

  • ITS THE NATURE OF MY GAME....OH WELL

    }8 ? )

  • i remember dis music...in call of duty black ops^_^

  • @jvdwolf because politicians ran the war.

  • great vid

  • black ops is suck for connection and you all SUCK[ {{nice song]]]]]

  • IS THAT YOU JOHN WAYNE?!

  • thumbs up if your are here cooz of the easter egg in nuketown,BLACK OPS

  • Alll the weed and acid the soilders took prollllly couldnt cover up the mental horrors of this Fucked up war butttt its all in the comradeship ha with chances of nam in the possiblity to die in war id would being laughing my ass offf every chance id get with fellow soilders/friends crackin jokes n tellin storys geeeekd up.... but then again thats prolly why casaulties were high buuut America is the best fuck wat you heard!!!

  • I'm sick of the hero-worship in this country. Going overseas to kill civilians in the name of your country doesn't make you a hero. It makes you a pawn of the grand chessboard of American Imperialism. If you don't like my comment, Fuck You.

  • @johnnydarkly Fuck you, a country is like a team, soldiers come for your country and fight for it so cheer them on michael moore.

  • Great job on the video

  • Where did you get this footage? Great vid by the way!

  • why cant the world Give Peace A Chance

  • @meanmachine210 what are you gay?

  • @TheMarine1903 no just a peaceful person

  • @meanmachine210 world peace will NEVER happen because people aways find a way to hate each other

  • @TheMarine1903 i know :(

  • @jvdwolf And that was all due to the fact that the US didn't properly fight 'Nam.

  • @jvdwolf NV took over SV because the USA had dropped almost all support for SV because of the liberal's anti-war movement so SV was left to fend for itself as US troops had pulled out and could only support SV with bombings which ended in 1973. Learn the real history before you post what you think history is

  • wow, great job thanks.

  • To start they went to war with a piece of Crap for a weapon, the M-16 caliber;5.56,it was a piece of SHIT, jammed easily, Broke easily and was for must of the time unreliable. The Viet Cong had the best rifle ever manufactured, the AK-47 caliber;7.62, Never jammed, strong built and not the sand nor the water could made it unreliable.

  • The USA army got their ass kicked by a bunch of skinny guys wearing pajamas. After 10 years of fruitless efforts to win a lost war, the USA had to admit defeat, but at least they went to Viet Nam to stop the spreading of communism, but they Failed. Their arrogance was a factor for their defeat. Now Iraq and Afghanistan, their second and third Viet-Nams

  • @piontro us army didnt get there ass kicked, do your homework. The only reason the war turned out the way it did is because of political bs.

  • @piontro you are reatarded the US was winning the war up to the tet offenceive then us casulites went up and us interest in the war went down so in our best efforts to train the undisipiined south veitnamese army we left hoping for the best plus the veit cong were backed by the soviet union also the veitcong were fighting for freedom from the french and when a country is fighting for freedom they are usually are more determined

  • The devilry of the American-waged military campaign in Vietnam and the mayhem and murder wrought upon the vietnamese makes this video thoroughly appropriate for this song.

  • @johnnydarkly i hope you know you are the most retarded person alive

  • @imaRoLLingStonzFan Agreed!!! Lets not forget Give me shelter haha

Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks

  • @RancidElf32 great job on the video i really enjoyed watching it. One of RS best songs but Gimme Shelter is amazing tho

  • @RancidElf32 Every songs of the Rolling Stones are the best! But yes Sympathy for the devil is a fucking hit!

  • What about the ARVN ? I didn't see any of them in this video !!!!

  • unwinnable, war ,the same as in afghanistan now !!!!!!!!!

  • If the main goals of the war were not achieved then it is a lose. no way to spin it,unfortunately. NV took over SV. and still a communist country but now with the south as they intended. 4M died or 1M died does it matter who killed more.

This is like saying Germany won the war because they killed more. War winning is never about who kill more.

  • @undocumentedspot NV took over SV because the USA had dropped almost all support for SV because of the liberal's anti-war movement so SV was left to fend for itself as US troops had pulled out and could only support SV with bombings which ended in 1973. Learn the real history before you post what you think history is

  • @DarkLordGreg88 I don't want to learn a history written like this "it is all the fault of libruls" . There are many documentaries here on youtube, watch. I didn't say US army lost the war, because this is not true. but obviously the war was lost when US couldn't achieve the objectives and NV achieved their objectives. what are the reasons for all that? that's a different subject. but I guarantee you it is not as easy as "it was all the fault of libruls/hippies..etc"

  • @undocumentedspot it was mainly the fault of hippies and liberals if they just stoped complaining and just let the armed forces do there thing there would be a unified CAPITALIST veitnam and if you cant spell LIBERAL than you probably dont have your facts stright

  • @TheMarine1903 don't not dont. YOU should learn how to spell your native language . Librul is intentionally misspelled to ridicule your simple mindset . You over simplify everything and lay the blame on libruls hippies. that must be so rational thinking /not. Maybe US should have wasted more lives and resources for some other decades to convince you? how about a century? gazillion deficit ok? Read some books. otherwise you will be a fool and a fool never learn from past mistakes.

  • very nice mate! good song choice to!! 5* :)

  • this is great footage whered you get this??

  • the man in the black pajamas, worthy fucking adversary.

  • Not much victory when 1,000,000 NVA casualties are on the tally board of history. You are right about the political standpoint though. But how long did Vietnam stayed Communist?

  • this is why my paretns wont let me join army when i turn of age

  • @fairfieldsBEST when youre of age, you dont have to listen to mommy and daddy anymore...

  • When you "turn of age" your parents won't have control over you...

  • @fairfieldsBEST- RancidElf32 is Indeed correct. when you turn 18 it doesn't matter what your parent(s)/guardian wants or thinks. When you turn 18 they have no control over you, your decisions, or your actions, whatever they may be.

  • @zombiehunter96 Yup thats what I'm doing. I asked and like begged to join now (I'm 17) and my mom wouldn't let me. I even brought the papers home for her to sign and she wouldn't UGHHHH haha So I have like 4 and 1/2 months till I'm 18. Gonna be one of the first things I do when I become and "adult" She said she'll still stop me haha like hell she will.

  • @RancidElf32 Good for you man I'm going to sign up with the Marine Corp

  • @RancidElf32 well your in for a real treat my friend ;)

  • @RancidElf32 your gunna do that to your mother. Shes spent her time raising you up for 18 years. Don;t make her waste it. Your choice but think about what we're REALLY fighting for before you join.

  • @RancidElf32 what branch did you join. Army or Marines?

  • @RancidElf32 My dad disowned me and I had to pry my mom off of me when it was time to ship off to infantry basic. I rejected a scholarship to fight in the Iraq War. Served as an RTO, Scout and the CO's bodyguard in the 1st Infantry Division and 173rd Airborne Brigade. Got medically retired last Christmas. No regrets. Contracted for a bit, now the GI Bill has me in school to be a game warden. I can hold my head up high above my college peers. My scars prove my worth.

  • @gogoandywolf dude, thats a story. Good luck man

  • @zombiehunter96 you don't need permission when you're 17.5 years old

  • @fairfieldsBEST The Armys a wondeful thing son, but If you do die think of how your mother would feel when she tried so hard to stop her little boy from going out and serving his country. What your doing is admirable and damn patriotic and I love that, Just send my reguards to your mother and respect her a little more, youll understand how shes feels when you have children

  • @fairfieldsBEST your parents are just smarter than you.. that is your problem..

  • Comment removed

  • great video, i am glad i served in viertnam. i do it again if i had to.

  • did you have all that gear wizart :O

  • yes i had most of it. including the radio for 6 months.the only thing i did not carry when i had the radio was the law

  • Don't know why people gave you a thumbs-down for that bud. I don't care about what people believe about that war morally, because you clearly had more balls than them simply by going there. Whether you were an officer or not, you deserve some thorough, proper saluting my friend.

  • 58,159 dead, 2,000 missing and 303,635 wounded Americans. South Vietnam was lost. War costs: $584 billion. Who speaks from victory?

  • Only because we had to pull out.

  • great video and thank-you. joining the Marines right out of high school-can't wait! Semper Fi

  • @berriesncreme51 what grade are you in

  • M14 still is one of my favorite weapons.

  • Great video as usuall!

  • Actually they had chinese support and chinese weapons and chinese troops. They didn't do it alone.

  • Yes but had been tooken over for years by the british and were hit bad in WW2 by the japas. This was a win + the USA got help by the AUS and canada

  • To those who say we lost Vietnam look at the statistics. Politically we lost, we also lost around 60,000 soldiers, but we killed over four million. So I'd say we won

  • I would say so myself

  • Yes but war is far more than just killing. But i do see your point. But i am not rubing it in your face i am just making the point that the weak can beat the strong.

  • Yeah it was a military victory IMO, though we lost 50,000 troops.
