I done a belt on a 1.4 focus few weeks ago and that pully gave me a bad frite.
I marked the pully to a spot on d inside case.
Put all back in place let off tensioner and all marks on top lined up looked under neath and taught the crank was a mile out. Was there for a while scratching me head before i figured out what had hapened.
@TheDrunkenLeprachaun in eire we call it , a bobbie trap. the floating wheel, ford has a reason for it. im sure it is to get the valve timing to perfection, to max 125 psi. only a guess. nearly sure.
Whats the ida of that floating pully do you know?
