With out that Roosevelt would have had difficulty declaring war on the Axis powers. Anyway the USA still did not declare war on Germany and Italy until after they had declared war on it a few days after Pearl Harbor. Also don't forget France by this time had fallen and was fighting against Britain not against the Axis

At the end of the day if Britain had fallen the war was lost, the US and Russia could have never have tried to retake Europe without British help. Remember it was the British who started war on the Germans, not the other way round. "Helping Poland" was a British pretext to assault their German neighbour, because the British regarded Germany as a rival.
Notice that Churchill sold Poland to Dictator Stalin at the Yalta-conference 1945, even before the war was over.

With out that Roosevelt would have had difficulty declaring war on the Axis powers. Anyway the USA still did not declare war on Germany and Italy until after they had declared war on it a few days after Pearl Harbor. Also don't forget France by this time had fallen and was fighting against Britain not against the Axis

@LovelyElbe11 Firstly, Britain could have stayed out of the war, by signing the peace treaty with nazi germany. But clearly if Hitler had taken over Europe he would have tried to invade Britain eventually.
Stalin was a nutcase, but he did actually save our ass. Everyone's. Without his support on the eastern front, Hitler would concentrate his forces to the west and crushed the USA, France and Britain.

@ToaJoe the British stabbed the Germans in the back. Germany wanted help against the Communist threat, and those British criminals allied with the Communists.
The Communists killed over 3.0 Million German civilians, after the war was actually over. This was also Churchill's guilt, because he agreed to all the atrocities that were arranged at the Yalta-Conference 1945.
Google "how three Million Germans died after VE-Day", and you will find even the Britsih press reporting about it.

Churchill hated communism, and you have no proof to say he loved communists. The reason he supported Stalin was because otherwise Britain would be defeated by Nazi Germany. He needed Stalin as an ally in order to divert Hitlers troops to the eastern front. After the war, he no longer supported Stalin. You can watch his iron curtain speech.

Over 1.7 Million Germans were murdered in American concentration camps by Churchill's friend EISENHOWER. And evenm more by STALIN in ALLIED Gulag Concentration camps. @zowtt But remember that Churhill was the one who had pressed parliment to declare war against finland when they were trying to resist the red army. Finland was a soveriegn country and the red army attacked and Finland was defending herself and then Britian declared war on them.
