loved the informative intro and the a cappella too. kept the groove going, and that's a challenging song to do. What kind of audience was it? You mentioned something about diverse religions...just curious.
I bought their new album recently and I was shocked that they tried to imitate the Paul Simon style. I was shure that is what it sounded like. They do such a wonderful music with the praise and worship, that shey should go bak to that. The new album was very disapointing and no wonder the Christian bookstore had it on Sale for 6 bucks.!
I really liked Share the Well, I think they pull off a world style very well. I wasn't too crazy about Overdressed, but I don't think it was horrible; just not my personal taste (I wasn't too crazy about Webb's CD, either...)
I can't tell you how many times I have listened to Graceland over the course of my life. It never gets old. It is a fantastic album with tremendous staying power. I've always loved Caedmon's and think it's great they covered this song. It's also nice that they are from my hometown of Houston Texas! Pay me a visit sometime if you like Caedmon's Call and Paul Simon. Thanks for posting this video.
oh yeah, also forgot to mention that Andy actually bought me Graceland by Paul Simon before the show at Best Buy... We got pulled over by a cop and i found out some scary stuff and was really shaken so Andy decided to buy it for me. When Cliff says, "You guys should really get graceland" Andy looked at me and nodded. I was in the front row.
And now I'm going to stop talking. Its almost needless :)
this is so freaking weird. I live like 5 hours away in Washington, yet, I was at this show. I filmed this song too... ha! funny stuff. Actually, me, my brother, and a friend drove Andrew Osenga (guitar player on the left) down from Marysville, WA (my home town). He did a show for us the night before. That was an absolute blast hanging with him in the car for 4 hours. He is the man.

Excellent job on covering this song. It is a really classic Paul Simon tune.
