@screwme55 Okay I am legend was based off of a book intitled I am legend. In the book the main character dies. The reason for this is is because he sacrifises him self to save millions of people. If he was to let them break through the saftey glass him and the girl and her kid would've died and all the work that he did to find the cure (which he did) would've been worthless and the movie or book would've been stupid his sacrifise is what makes him a legend (hence) "I Am Legend"
