We jumped into this incarnation, into time and space, the doctor thinks he is a doctor,
the mother thinks she is a mother. Shankara and the classic Hindu position seems to be represented here, Atman dissolving into Brahman. Buddha dissolved even that concept of Atman and Brahman, but I am sure that Shankara was only setting up Atman and Brahman as conventional realities to leave some "trailing" vines to his students. Ram dass also leaves these "trailing vines."
