@kistuszek It's perfectly fine to handle them like that. There are (I think) 5 kinds of invasive roaches. The dubia is not one of them. Plus, we usually have 1 or 2 beardies sitting around us to snatch any "Runners".
can all kind of roaches climb on plastic? and how do i stop them from climbing out of it some say tape but does it work with any? and is it good to mix dog/fish food and give to them? som say chicken food but that sounds fucked up
I have a baby beardie that I got from petsmart 3 weeks ago. He/she is 5.5" long. He's currently eating crickets and reptiworms. The crickets are getting on my last nerve...they jump all over the place during feeding time. Can a 5.5" long baby eat tiny dubias? Thanks!
@tlewis7630 Great question! Feeding them babies is more that alright as long as they are the same size as the crickets. Dubias have a right gut to shell ratio then almost any other food (other than Super worms, horned worms, and wax worms), therefore, making them better for them and easier to digest. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
so in my honest opinion I think your a fucking idiot i mean your beatting the piss out of them banging them around probably the first guy ive seen do this!! but like ya said their just roach's !! good one !!
@BERGYx2 no problem i just started my B dubias colony not much but i am going to need my my female first laid 23 all fertile then 25 all fertile i have a lot on my plate ..lol
@StarrbuKk Very nice! If your subscribed to me you'll notice that in the next couple of days I will be giving my largest video update yet, 5 new adult bearded dragons, a new feeder species we have now and some other goodies!

Is it wise to handle them like that? I mean some are escaping right there. Thinking about how quickly they can multiply...

excuse me sir but how do i raise the humidy?
hoodstarx1 1 week ago
@hoodstarx1 For the roaches, just feed them oranges or the water jell blocks. In the beardies tanks, just spray some water on them.

@lurtz8083 Dubias can't climb plastic. As little ones, some of them can but not that well. Just tap the lid every time you open the lid.

@AndreONEz They do not fly nor are they invasive. In fact, there are more non-invasive species than invasive species!
nberg96 7 months ago
@AndreONEz nope. i feed my baby beardie roaches and they r perfect cause they dont fly or crawl up the glass tank.
