Interesting idea and kind of fun. I'm not clear on what this does though. Why can't they jsut donate the rice regardless of who plays the game?

I'm not sure what you mean. I don't think it matters who plays the game, but I believe the idea of the website is to give companies the incentive to donate. (i.e. more hits if you donate rice to our foundation)
