@MrCoolio190 I'm pretty sure it's legal. The mack is not intentional and the player dives from in bounds to throw it back in. Is there something I'm not seeing?
@bkizzleish That isn't illegal, think of it as a greatest (where you catch it in air and throw it before landing). It is only illegal to intentionally move the disc and then catch it yourself. In this case the person changing the course of the disc and the person catching it are two different people. The last official possession would be the person you threw the disc. As far as i know nothing about this is illegal. Correct me if I'm wrong
@bkizzleish I don't think this is illegal. What wrong with throwing the disc backwards? I think the disc was out of bounds so that was sort of like a greatest, which is jumping out of bounds from in bounds catching the disc and throwing it back in before landing. It is only illegal if you intentionally changed the course of the disc and then caught it YOURSELF. Correct me if I'm wrong but as far as I know, this play is legal
@imiihawk oohh see i thought you cant intentionally tip it in to anyone, i did it at a local tourny and got called for it, i was stil lin teh air too so it wasnt because of that, either way its a good play
@bkizzleish It used to be illegal. I think in the 8th edition rules they made any pass while you are in the air legal, as long as the disc didn't touch anything out of bounds.
"While originally called Ultimate Frisbee, it is now officially called Ultimate because Frisbee is the trademark for the line of discs made by the Wham-O toy company."
This is the most awesome play in ultimate caught on film! Most awesome throw . . . No! Most awesome catch . . . No! Most awesome set of events caught on film involving a Frisbee . . . A strong chance!
Not the greatest catch ever...the greatest throw ever! After that throw, the catch was routine. Both players did have to be extremely heads up to make that play. That may have been the most impressive part. Thanks for posting!
