This is the original off the camera. No compression. Make sure you're watching the HD version.

Go to Menu > Shooting Menu > Movie Settings (last item) > Quality > 1280 x 720.

This is the HD setting. I simple use iMovie on amy mac to edit but the clip above doesn't have any editing done. It is straight off the camera.

I use the Nikkon 18 - 200mm lense which is great. If you have a bad lense your colour may be bad. Good Luck!

Did you compress the AVi file of did you upload the camera file straight to youtube?

I'm having trouble with my D90, well actually with editing footage. The output files are really lame.

What do you use to edit and what was your output file specifications.

I'm currently using Premiere Elements 7.0
