your wrong i learned (Im in fourth grade) that if a turtle was born with *two heads* That means the mother some how had a twin in one egg and so one twin (one head) controls one side and the other twin (again head) controls their side...

For example, with this turtle, the single heart is faced with the task of supplying blood to 2 seperate brains, meaning either it has to be constantly working twice as hard, or the bloodflow to each brain would be significantly reduced.
