I was on Shemya Air Station when I purchased this album! One girl behind every tree..oh..Shemya was in the Aleutians! Rocked the composite building every night!
I first heard of the late great rock, funk drummer, singer extrodinere Buddy Miles. In 1970 when he played drum's in the "Band Of Gypsy's." With the immortal Jimi Hendrix. However I did'nt really get into his music until I heard this lp. This is one of the best live LP's of all time. Buddy played on 70 world tour's; had other hit LP's in his career; It's a discrace that he's not in the "R.N.R." hall of fame.
I wonder if it is possible to post the live version of "We've Gotta Live Together" here by cutting it at the front end? If I remember correctly, the first couple of minutes or so is made up of crowd noise and MC introductions. Perhaps by cutting all that out it can get down to the ten minute limit here.
Dwill, I asked 'majorslide' this, who posted 'Down By The River' from this album, also. Would you be willing post this album's version of 'Wrap It Up' in two parts? That way it could be posted here unedited.
You did a terrific job considering the circumstances! Thank you for posting this. I haven't heard it in years, and had forgotten how good it sounded (still does).
