As far as the inaccuracy of the first note sequence, anything can happen with amateurs on a live stage performing before millions. Just because you don't prefer her breathing in the middle of phrases doesn't make it ugly -- it just means you don't prefer it. If you're a vocal coach, I'm glad you weren't mine.

Good luck getting this released. I would buy an album of songs like this IF they made one. Instead they have her make albums aimed at kids. Well they made an album for an adult(Susan Boyle) and look at the success! If Fantasia or Melinda made an adult album I'd buy it in a second. I also bought a Paul Potts CD. Absolutely. Reminds me of Stevie Wonder, who can similarly captivate while singing a straight line. What it comes down to, IMO, is an absolutely sublime sense of rhythm; that's where Fantasia shits all over other vocalists. Listen to this a few times then try listening to ANY other version. It's hers now, IMO.
