Reminds me so much of the original Halloween (1978) Not the concept or anything, just the fact that the house at 0:00 looks like the house in Halloween and the scene from 1:29 to 1:38 is like the chase scene in Halloween.
I watched THE BOOGEYMAN last week (I own the Anchor Bay Double Feature DVD, with THE DEVONSVILLE TERROR) and I think that it is amazing! It is in league with the work of Mario Bava and Dario Argento (mainly INFERNO). The acting was great, especially from Nicholas Love as Willy, the traumatized brother, and John Carradine as Dr. Warren. And the fact that it was filmed in Chesapeake Bay, Maryland adds a charm to the movie (since I am from Delaware). I hope THE BOOGEYMAN comes to Blu-Ray soon!
This is another one which was declared "obscene" by the British courts and subsequently banned as a "Video Nasty".......what a fine, repressed, bastard nation we live in!

what is the name of the movie where there is a girl and she wakes up in her bedroom and all of the toys and everything in her room is chasing her and there is a giant clown. i saw some of this scene a while back and had wanted to find out what movie it was from. does anybody know?
I just found out on Bloody Disgusting the name of this movie. I saw it when I was a young child and had been trying to remember the name for over 28 years and nobody remembered this movie.
