  • Awesome!!! Thank you.

  • Freeing a imprisonent man from his own prison causes him suffering. This is the karma of the wise. Yet we bare it gladly for all. Tears come to my eyes if i think of the job ahead for me. Yet i persevere with dilligence. I plant seeds of love for truth and good deeds. You will do what you love and will not do what you hate. Learn to love the truth and the good deeds and these will grow out of you.

I wish you luck on your path, whereever it may take you. Know that everyone is.

  • We sing this song in our Milarepa Children's Chorus. Thank you. Love,

  • @peter030lesen Free the Self!!

  • Hellow dear Dharma friends, I have one question. Buddha is enlightened. Meditation leads to Enlightenment. Buddhist Master Ole Nydahl in meditation on Buddha Tsepame, Amitayus, has noted : "diese ubung ist fur uns ungewohnlich. Sie hat nicht die Erleuchtung zum unmittelbaren Ziel, sondern soll uns die Moglichkeit schenken, dieses Leben lange zum Besten aller nutzen zu konnen." How meditation on Buddha doesnt lead to Enlightenment? Warior.

  • I think if your practicing ( probably after a Phowa practice) Amitayus with the purpose of increase your life energy in order to help others.. that motivation will lead you to obtain liberation sooner or later!!! .. and also in the disolution state there is only emptiness, Mahamudra, natural state,unborn- Dharmadatu, of course will lead you to entlightment!!!!!!

  • Great mantra, very beautiful really. Howeber i cannot understand what they are repeating, could someone please post a link where i can find the lyrics for it please?

  • the main thing they are reciting is Milarepa mantra: je mila je pa dorje le so wa deb so. then at the end some verses, im not sure, maybe a song of his or dedication. the other Mila mantra is: om ah guru hasa vajra sarva siddhi pala hung (although i think some people omit the 'pala' out of it)

  • some people also pronounce it "je mila gye pa dorje la so wa deb so"

  • ahhh shee my whole life i got the 'gye' bit wrong !! unbelievable haha, i thought it was like i wrote cuz iv only heard it recited, not writen, but now i understand its actually 'je mila shepa dorjela so wa deb so' which is literally translated: 'je Mila' = lord Mila, 'shepa dorje' (Milarepa's dharma name given by Marpa literally 'laughing vajra', 'la'= to' , so wa deb so' = i make requests.

  • the other mantra is a sanscrit name mantra 'hasa vajra' is the Sanskrit of the tibetan 'shepa dorje'.(laughing vajra) thanks uploader today after about 30 years (from dad reciting it to me as a baby) i figured got the mantra hahahaha

  • We are calling his secret name ( Shepa Dorje) "laughing vajra" give me your blessing.

  • @konchogtenzin i guess is not secret anymore hu?

  • Je Mila Shepa Dorje Lah Solwa Depso

  • the prayer recited is "Djé Mila Chépa Dordjé la Seulouadebso", which means "i adress to you my prayer Lord Mila with Diamant Laugh"
