hey sorry for all the questions i just wanna figure out wat to get do u think a Novak Rooster Crawler ESC and Fifty-Five brushed motor would be any good'?
ok thnx what electronics would u reccomend for me? i will use the truck for mudding mostly and some water bashing... im looking to stay on the cheapish side
Well, I would recommend a Spektrum DX5e and the servos I used as well as a TEU101BK. Waterproof them and off you go. A 55t motor is also good to use when mudding IMO.
i know ive asked everyone this but im getting a highlift and need to know what electronics...(ESC, servos, controller, whatever else u need ) did you use?
I am using a Spektrum DX6i, Towerpro MG... servo for steering and a standard futaba servo for shifting (don't know the models as my truck is not here at the mo). I was using a TEU-101BK esc with a 55t lathe motor. But now I have a MFU.
WIth a locked diff the wheels are continuesly driven. When the diffs aren't locked then if one wheel is off the ground, the other won't be driven and so you will loose control/grip.
I have a problem with my F350.. When i turn it on the wheels spin very fast and i'm not even pressing the gas. And when I try to shift it, the wheels stop spinning and there's a very loud noise coming from the motor. I looked at the manual to see if I followed it correctly and I did. please help
Well actually there is nothing special on locking the High lift diffs. You have a small screw supplied in the in the kit. Just screw that into the diff.
Other wise you can put in an extra conical gear in the diff. You put that between 2 gears in the diff...
