Reid is right - the players were taking the money and couldn't give a hoot about the club. This defeatist attitude was the direct result of the Ridsdale/Oleary overspending. Money ruined the football and the club - the wages, the transfer fees, the agents and probably the backhanders too. Notice how all those great players couldn't wait to leave when they thought their wages might be in jeopardy. Like rats leaving a sinking ship. Money/greed is modern footballs problem and Leeds fell foul of it.
