@Zappygunshot the pump is using membrane method, very similar to air pump used in many cheap fish tanks. It uses coil like a solenoid which is vibrates at 50/60Hz.

it cant kill anything yet,and i think they arent designed for this anyway.this kind of robot takes its muscle energie out of a compressor which pumps air..a second energie cell is needed for the robots maincomputer wich controlls the compressors ventils ,and all the rest.so they will be harmless.the question is how big must be a compressor for a 40hours workabillity.the batterie for the computer wouldnt be the problem.festos small robots mustn be strong as a humanoid must be to be usefull
